Need more pregame activities. Better tailgating access, parking, transportation. Get rid of fan fest and put a live band with food trucks, tables to eat at, cornhole, photo booths. Give unsold tickets to youth football teams around the area. Whatever you gotta do to fill it up

Winning football keeps fans in the stands & also helps keep us off of Noon kickoffs that ESPN controls. Stadium parking comes to those who invest in the program. No way to change. Fans need to offer solutions on how to improve game day beyond the priority one of winning.

Another idea: The band needs to play more energetic and frankly better stand tunes. Football team and athletics should give the band direction in this regard. The stand tune book hasn't really been comprehensively updated in the past decade and a half.

Been saying this for years. We need, at a minimum: 1. Significant investment in the tailgate experience: There should be shade in the hot months, stages for local bands, spots for food and beverage vendor trucks. And bathrooms! I can’t justify paying thousands for season tickets and a parking spot so my wife can pee in a porta potty. 2. Bring back the traditions Groh eliminated. Give prizes for the best dressed students; and discount non-student entry for folks wearing coats and ties/dresses. 3. Create spaces where people can congregate and see the action that aren’t their seats. Every major stadium has pavilions and terraces and bars that overlook the action. We have a huge colonnade that looks into the field and we sometimes have kettle corn at one end. Come on guys. 4. TVs everywhere. This is getting better but it should be impossible to get up to go to the bathroom or hit the concessions and miss plays. Put them in the walkways, the bathrooms, etc. 5. Halftime show(s). The marching band is fine, but it’s not that exciting. Invite visiting artists to perform WITH the band. Pair it with a concert after the game or as a preview of a coming show elsewhere. 6. Fill the unsold seats. Fill any seats unsold by a few days before by inviting school and church groups to attend for free. It will be worth it, especially as you have to do this less and less. And longer term, renovate to make the stadium lower capacity with nicer seats. We aren’t going to pack almost 70k in there anytime soon

There’s two groups that need to be addressed here Non-students: non grad Virginians aren’t UVA fans like how people in Ohio are all Ohio State fans. As a start, make tickets cheaper and fill empty ones with local schools and students

For one Parking sucks at uva, and the tail gating around the stadium is mid as hell, some of them don’t even make it in and if they do they’ll leave at halftime. I’ve parked at the Fontaine lots everytime I’ve went to uva and the tailgating there is pretty good.
