The operation targeted one of the ISIS terrorists responsible for weaponizing and funding ISIS terrorist cells in the Al-Buneital village, #Deir_Ezzor's eastern countryside. Our partnered anti-ISIS operations will continue until we achieve the enduring defeat of ISIS.

According to several officials, last night’s operation in the Aleppo Governorate of Northern Syria which resulted in the elimination of several terrorists and a senior leader of ISIS, was a joint-operation carried out by forces under the Syrian Defense and Interior Ministries, alongside U.S. Special Operations Forces dropped by helicopter and additional air/ground elements under U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
