I mean, do I really need a lecture on politics of any stripe, right when the molly is kicking in?” This is one of those 80/20 issues. People are sick of going to a concert to hear their favorite music and instead getting preached to about politics by entertainers who have no more expertise on the subject than the people sitting in the crowd. People paid to see Ed Sheeran. If I were Ed Sheeran, I would be furious. And if I were a Macklemore fan, I'd be annoyed too. I paid to hear music, not a political lecture.

The way I have not seen Ed Sheeran call out Macklemore for ruining his career shows me how much control the left has over the music industry. You cannot convince me that Macklemore didn’t tank Ed’s tour on purpose with his “free Palestine” rant. Ed Sheeran stays out of politics and Macklemore knew that, but still decided to tank Ed’s career. Macklemore used Ed’s stadiums to scream “Free Palestine,” play a protest song with Gaza footage on the screens, and turn a concert into a rally. Venues said they wouldn’t host the remaining dates if he stayed, and the promoter drops him. Now Ed is seen as the villain while Macklemore gets to play the martyr and stay relevant. This is not friendship... thats a SNAKE! Ed, this dude is not your friend and I highly suggest you call him out and grow a pair. Stop apologizing to the left and own the fact that your music is for everyone and you’re a singer not an activist.
