Elon Musk is a unique individual. Think about the achievements he's made and all of the different industries he's involved in that express the technical might of America. Trump wants to be close to that. The whole administration was part of that story, and frankly, so do the Chinese. I keep saying this about Trump, and I say this about Elon Musk, ignore the noise. Focus on the signal. It's not easy to do in the world we live in. I'm an investor. I don't care about noise. I don't care about the, the tiff these two are having right now. It's irrelevant. I focus on the signal. Do I stay long Tesla? Yes.

There's a simple formula underneath every economy on earth: GDP growth = population growth + productivity growth + debt growth More workers, more output per worker, or more borrowing. That's all growth has ever been. When the first two stall, debt steps in to fill the gap, which grows the economy now by stealing from the future. The problem is that the trend rate of growth has been falling for decades, in the US and every developed economy. It now sits around 1.75%. The reason is the part you can't change. The working-age population is shrinking. Fewer workers means a lower ceiling on growth, no matter what anyone does about it. So the economy leans harder and harder on the one lever that's left. Debt. And that's where the real story begins.

Right there, you give yourself a reason to tell the story. You have a story, but you need to figure out your way in. Figure out a reason for saying it.
