Orochimaru wasnt perfect with Edo Tensei, he had difficulty controlling them, so he ended up using seals to deaden their egos to fight, making them weaker as well. Kabuto basically perfected Edo Tensei later on, thats why the later zombies were so much stronger.

@hsvictor96gmai1 Honestly it depends on who we're calling human. In his prime he's above the Sannin, maybe Itachi and the Pains. But he was weaker than someone like FGNW Obito and a living Minato. Obviously he's under anyone with a connection to the Otsutsuki like Naruto, Sasuke, Madara etc.

They weren't at their full strength and still controlled by Orochimaru and third hokage is still strong. Had it been the Hashirama from Shippuden or the OG one his clone would've dropped Hiruzen

Comprehension issue, Orochimaru used an imperfect version of the jutsu so they were nowhere near as strong as their living selves. They were weaker than Orochimaru. Hiruzen was old, not weak, think about all the precautions Orochimaru took to fight him.

Inverse: Orochimaru hadn’t perfected the jutsu and needed to nerf the Senju Bros so he could control them Outverse: At the time, Kishimoto hadn’t developed the Senju Bros to be the titans among shinobi they were later on, especially Hashirama
