The Bondi Beach shooting was carried out by a father and son who had pledged allegiance to ISIS ABC reported this, citing investigators. An ISIS flag was found in the attackers’ car. 24-year-old Navid Akram had previously come to the attention of Australian security services over suspected links to an ISIS cell in Sydney. He is currently in critical condition. His father, 50-year-old Sajid Akram, was shot dead at the scene. Social media users are discussing the younger Akram’s apparent composure and training — video footage shows him firing continuously and with precision at unarmed people. The massacre was stopped by 43-year-old Ahmed al-Ahmed, a fruit shop owner and father of two: unarmed, he rushed the gunman and wrestled the pistol from his hands. The man was shot twice and is now in hospital, Bloomberg reports. U.S. billionaire Bill Ackman organized a fundraiser via GoFundMe. Around $690,000 has already been raised for the hero from the fruit shop, with Ackman himself donating $99,999. After the attack, unknown individuals dumped pig heads at a Muslim cemetery in Sydney, following the refusal of Islamic community leaders to bury the terrorists there. They said they do not consider the attackers to be true followers of Islam. In six minutes, the terrorists fired more than 100 shots. Sixteen people were killed. Among the victims was 87-year-old Alex Kleitman, a Ukrainian-born Holocaust survivor. He died while shielding his wife from the bullets.

Madam Mamata Banerjee, Thank you sincerely for expressing your deep concern and worry over the recent incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir. For your information, the Honourable Home Minister of India, Shri Amit Shah Ji, has already rushed to the spot, held high-level meetings, and initiated efforts to bring the situation under control. But this raises an important question about your role. For a long time, in your own state of West Bengal, radical jihadists have been relentlessly persecuting innocent Hindus in Murshidabad. Fleeing with their lives, many Hindus have been forced to abandon their homes, practically becoming refugees in their own land. Their possessions have been looted, and their homes set on fire. Despite witnessing these horrific atrocities against innocent Bengali Hindus, the police administration initially took no action. In fact, it was only after court intervention that central forces were deployed to stabilize the situation. Yet even after all this time, you have not visited Murshidabad, nor have you stood by the victims. From the highest administrative position in the state, the few comments you have made on the Hindu massacre in Murshidabad have left the persecuted Hindus of Bengal disheartened and increasingly anxious. The people of Bengal are beginning to understand where your real priorities lie! Therefore, I urge you—please turn your attention to Murshidabad. Stand beside the anxious Hindus there. While the Government of India is responding to the Kashmir situation with wartime urgency and will continue working to eradicate terrorism, it is now your responsibility to stop the politics of appeasement. Instead, you should act for the oppressed Hindus of your own state.

The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.

Pakistan's oppression of occupied #Kashmir is worsening. As the world's attention is largely fixated on the war between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East, unrest has erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in South Asia. Tensions are rising in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as the Pakistani government has been deploying troops from Punjab Province to suppress the imminent protests in the region due May 11. The protests aim to address the Kashmiri people's economic, social and political problems that Pakistan's government has failed to solve. The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) and the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have issued warnings to the government of Pakistan against the use of any force against protestors. The warnings have apparently been ignored as Pakistan mobilized its troops to the area, leading to more protests. Historical background info: "In 1947, the Princely State of Jammu and Kashmir became part of the Republic of #India. Shortly thereafter, Pakistani armed forces and Pashtun tribesmen invaded the area, forcing the largest Kashmiri political party to approve the accession. Indian forces were deployed to counter the attacks by Pakistan. In 1948, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 47 requiring all Pakistani military personnel to withdraw from the region before a plebiscite—which would have confirmed the people’s wishes to join India—could be called. Instead of this Pakistan increased its military presence, and no plebiscite was held. In the areas of Kashmir which remained outside of India, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, 41,000 Hindu families were forced to flee from Pashtun tribesmen. "The historic region of Kashmir has a total area of 85,807 sq. miles and is now divided between three countries. Pakistan occupies approximately 30,160 sq. miles, known as (PoK) and the Northern Areas." Clashes between Pakistani troops and Kashmiri locals are expected to further escalate. 👮🏾‍♀️🚔 || KZN police have thanked businessman Calvin Mathibeli for inviting them to probe his business affairs, including a Gauteng Health tender. This comes after a social media post, where he makes a number of allegations about the SAPS in the province following a raid at his premises. A statement from the provincial commissioner’s office says: “What Mr Mathibeli does not know is that the operation at his business premises was a Head Office operation and police in KwaZulu-Natal had nothing to do with it. Mr Mathibeli seems to have an obsession with police in KwaZulu-Natal and particularly, the Provincial Commissioner. Police in KwaZulu-Natal will now seek legal recourse against Mr Mathibeli for his image-tainting utterances. Mr Mathibeli even quoted what Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi said in his evidence at the Madlanga Commission that he was minding his business in KwaZulu-Natal when he learnt of the disbandment of the PKTT and started paying attention. Now that Mr Mathibeli has introduced himself to the police in KwaZulu-Natal, his utterances were simply an invitation to police in KwaZulu-Natal to start looking into his business dealings, and police have learnt that he is a beneficiary of a tender with the Department of Health in Gauteng. Police in KwaZulu-Natal will give him the attention he is seeking and get the ball of investigations rolling. Police in KwaZulu-Natal did not know about Mr Mathibeli and his business dealings and police would like to thank him for the voluntary invitation to his business operations. Police in KwaZulu-Natal are working tirelessly to regain the trust that the community must have on the police, and no malicious attack on police will be left unchallenged. Nobody is above the law, and any wrongdoings by police must be reported to the relevant authorities, not a miscalculated smear campaign of disseminating fabricated untruths.” -SAPS - eNCAnews

The #Yunus media is lying again by referring to the assailants of the Dhanmondi 32 house as "protesters" or "students and general masses." If they were "students and general masses”, then why did they raise the ISIS type flags as a sign of their Islamist victory and yell "Allahu Akbar" with triumph as they destroyed the historic landmark at Dhanmondi 32 in Bangladesh? The answer is very simple: those who demolished the Dhanmondi 32 residence did so because they harbored grudges against it, and the reasons for their grudges are that it represented everything contrary to what these Islamists believe. One should not fall into the false impression that their animosities toward this house were newly formed, as they were not. This house has been hated for generations by all Islamists who have resisted Bangladesh's liberation, especially Jamaat-e-Islami. To put this in perspective, Bangladesh was fighting for its independence in order to become a secular nation, which was in opposition to the Islamists' ideology. As a result, all Islamists, including Jamaat-e-Islami, opposed Bangladesh's liberation, collaborated with the Pakistani army, and committed genocide in an attempt to thwart Bangladesh's independence, but they were unsuccessful. Regretfully, a lot of people are unaware that Bangladesh has a distinct political split when it comes to secularism. The reality is that this house represents secular and democratic politics rather than radical politics based on religion; as a result, Islamists have hated it all along. The entire Islamic political groups—Islamists, jihadists, and terrorists—have legitimate grievances against this house because it symbolizes the Bengali people's long-standing struggle for their democratic rights, rebellion against the oppression of Pakistani military dictators, secular and modern politics, and Bangladesh's very independence; therefore, as a sign of their Islamist victory, they chanted "Allahu Akbar" and raised the ISIS type flags after demolishing the house.

⚠️#FactCheck: Prominent news outlet Addis Standard misrepresents a BBC Amharic story of Amhara university students abducted by Oromo militants. Addis Standard (AS) describes an incident which occurred last Wednesday (July 3rd) in which more than 100 university students traveling from Amhara Region to Addis Ababa city were abducted for ransom by the militants. AS claims the students were abducted by an "unidentified armed group" citing a report by BBC Amharic published yesterday titled "ገርበ ጉራቻ አካባቢ 100 የሚጠጉ ተማሪዎች በታጣቂዎች ታገቱ" (see link below). ♦️This claim however is misleading because the BBC Amharic article reports that witnesses implicated "Shene" militants (Amharic: ሸኔ; sometimes spelled "Shane" in English) which is short for Oromo Liberation Front Shene otherwise known as the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) which is a designated terrorist organization in Ethiopia. A simple search for the word "ሸኔ" in the BBC Amharic article shows it is mentioned three times in the Amharic article, and by utilizing the Google translate function a search of the word "Shene" returns two out of three mentions (the third mention is not translated properly). In addition, several other outlets such as Tikvah Ethiopia (on their Telegram page) and East African Review have reported the story implicating OLA militants. The AS post further claims "details about the group responsible for the abduction...remain unclear, according to BBC Amharic". ♦️This too is misleading since nowhere in the BBC Amharic article does it say that "details of the group responsible are unclear", this is a false and misleading translation. Rather, the article says numerous abductions for ransom have taken place in Oromia implicating the OLA (Shene). This is not the first time AS and its founder pro-Oromo activist Tsedale Lemma has been criticized for biased reporting including failing to report incidents in which state and non-state Oromo armed groups have committed ethnic-based killings, abductions, displacement and looting against Amhara civilians in Oromia and Amhara Regions. Furthermore, AS has been widely criticized for blocking users who have posted questions under their posts on X/Twitter, an usual policy which goes against standard practices user by other prominent outlets. The practice of misleading reporting based on exploitation of translation could easily be mitigated if major outlets like BBC News አማርኛ, VOA Amharic and DW Amharic published their Amharic language stories in English. For reference, an English translation of the BBC Amharic article is available below.
