@215Angel_Smoove Despite all the KAT nonsense, I still think he performs well for us in the playoffs.. I just can’t shake the feeling that he is going to be crucial for the Knicks and will hit his stride after the deadline. People forget KAT has already had real playoffs moments with the Knick.

trading him would be so dumb. he’s gonna find his groove again and him just being on the court for 5 out offense still makes us a much better team

KAT didn’t help himself with his struggles during the losing streak, but, trading for Giannis would mean depleting our roster for an injured Superstar. For me, that won’t help our chances of winning this year. If we trade him, it needs to push us forward, fast. This isn’t it.

If you a Knicks fan for real then you know that the team identity has been to have toughness and grit, like the city itself…KAT don’t show that enough, especially as the “big” He talented asf but Dannie need to stop crying about calls and just be a force

I’m really not interested in blowing it all up for Giannis. Does it get us any closer to a title really? Or is it better to try to add to what we have? I’ve always liked having a second option like KAT, but finishing games with that all defensive lineup around Brunson. It works

Like the the dude but we need this every night. Giannis is giving playoffs energy every night and those numbers Giannis gets in his sleep minus the offensive fouls. Hes unstoppable in the paint while JB got the free throw line and extended on lock.

Skip Bayless says the Giannis and Milwaukee situation is the biggest mess In the history of the NBA: “Because it’s not a funny mess it’s a sorry nasty mess. It’s ugly personal mess. And it’s hard to believe it got to this point. When Jimmy Haslam gets involved with a team as he’s been with the Cleveland Browns in the NFL. It turns towards clown show to me, he’s heavily involved in this one. So, the offseason he made it clear I want to go to the Knicks. And they said give us one more shot. We’re gonna send Dame back to Portland and we’re gonna go get Myles Turner and they did. Giannis says okay I’ll try it. And they immediately fall to 9-13 right out the gate. And he’s like that’s it. His agent goes and say that’s enough, 9-13 get us out. We want out. Then the trade deadline gets closer and closer and everybody obviously wants Giannis, the Heat make their best offer, the Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors everybody is clamoring. I think everybody in the league made an offer for Giannis at the trade deadline. The GM wouldn’t return phone calls. It’s like the owners are saying, Oh screw it just make him wait, make him sweat because will just hang on to his a** for the rest of the year. That’s how it came across to me.” (Via Gil’s Arena)

I think it’s 1A and 1A. Right now it’s 1A and 1B. If LeBron is able to do something special and put the team on his back like he used to do to Toronto. If he’s able to do something special and take this team to the WCF or Finals with this Lakers team he has, it’s 1A and 1A.” (Via Patrick Beverley)

Kenny Beecham on Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat: “Giannis plays for the Heat and he’s wearing number 7 — I think it’s going to take me months to get used to the number 7 on Giannis. But he plays for the Heat now, that’s probably going to take me months to get used to…there’s aspirations for him to be a contender again and he’s in a way better position in Miami than he was in Milwaukee that’s for damn sure. It is about keeping my boy healthy in that postseason…that’s really what it’s all about.” (via Kenny For Real YT)

Paul Pierce says LeBron James should really consider retirement after having a great season go down to injuries: “This is demoralizing. It really is like when you come in it’s the end of the season, you gearing up for a playoff run. And then you go down your two other two best players. It’s mentally draining. Like if I’m in that locker room, I’m like I’m looking around I got to do this myself at 41. It’s so draining on me mentally for him that I would really seriously contemplate retirement…. I can’t come back and go through this another year with the Lakers. That’s just mentally draining. It’s mentally draining on him, his mind and his body now. Now he’s going to be his last few games, he’s going to be playing all these minutes, then he’s going to be playing heavy minutes in the playoffs. It’s just, you know what? I’ve done enough for this league, guys.” (Via No Fouls Given)

Kendrick Perkins says this is where we got to give Mitch Johnson a lot of credit, he protected Wemby last night: “There’s a reason we didn’t see Wemby gassed you know why? Because he didn’t have the assignment of guarding Karl-Anthony Towns that was huge discussion a huge problem in games 1 and game 2. Karl-Anthony Towns was exposing Wemby, Karl-Anthony Towns was driving by Wembanyama every time he got the ball and efficient at the basket. Nobody in the league was doing that. And then all of a sudden as a player you have to put your pride aside because I know it wasn’t easy task for Mitch Johnson to say, “Wemby you know what we got to do what’s best for the team we going to put you on Josh Hart.”
