Paul Pierce says LeBron James should really consider retirement after having a great season go down to injuries: “This is demoralizing. It really is like when you come in it’s the end of the season, you gearing up for a playoff run. And then you go down your two...

Luke Kuechly says he knew it was time to retire from the NFL because he was no longer 100% mentally committed to hitting players at full force “I used to just go smack dudes and have no issues. And I would go hit a guy and I’m like, ‘Yeah, that didn’t really feel great.’ And so then, once you make the decision in your mind, I’m not all the way in it… like the last game of the year, I was like, ‘I’m done. I’m done’” “I just remember after that game, I was like, ‘Yeah, you don’t got it anymore. You don’t have it.’ I would've been fine if I physically slowed down. Can’t run as well, not as fast, maybe I’m not as physical. Maybe I don’t have the same fire. I would have been fine with that and I would have probably milked it out a little bit more” “Once I knew it was my head, mentally, it’s either yes or no. If you slow down, physically, you can still play football hard, play it fast and play with great effort. But once I knew mentally, it’s not any of that, I couldn’t rationalize. I can’t play as hard as I want to. My effort’s not going to be there. I can’t be as physical. It’s not fair to the guys on the team, and it’s not fair to the coaches, and it’s not fair to the fans and myself and my family for me to go out there at mentally 75%’” “If I got to thump a guard and push a guy back to Shaq to make a play, and I’m like, ‘Eh,’ and I get widened, and then the tackle is really hard on Shaq. That’s not fair to Shaq. For me to know, especially mentally, the reason why I’m not stuffing that guy. I didn’t take him on, I didn’t hit him how I should've. I couldn’t do that”

John Wall says NIL money is exposing who's really hungry and who's not “If you’re a star player and you know you’re going top five, cool. Get your money. But don’t let that change you.” “I’ve got my tournament, right? A kid comes in that plays for Overtime Elite. I’m thinking he’s the star player. He comes in with three chains on, ski mask on, walking into my gym.” “So I’m looking at him like, ‘Oh, he’s the guy.’ How many minutes did the man play in the game? Two. They were down 20 and he played the last two minutes.” “I’m like, ‘Your mindset is all backwards.’ You’re buying all these chains. You’re walking in with a ski mask. And you’re not going to go nowhere.” “If you get NIL, you’ve got to have a great foundation, parents or a great management team around you, so you know how to manage it. Because it’s already kind of preparing you for the NBA.” “These guys are getting $3 million, $4 million in high school. I look at it like this… If I’m getting $3 million in high school… I’ve got the best car on campus. I’m making the most money on campus. Am I waking up at 5 a.m. to work out the same way? I better.” “I don’t think a lot of these kids are. That’s where it’s like, ‘Oh, I got this early.’ Now what’s my purpose of getting to the league? Now you know if a kid really loves the game. Because I’m already getting what I really want… The money. The cars. The fame. So do you really love the game?”

Leigh-Anne opens up about her difficult year, leaving Warner, and signing an independent deal with Virgin: “It’s ‘Been A Minute’ since I’ve [filmed] one of these. If I’m being honest, I feel like I was avoiding this video. It’s been a weird start to the year. I was going through a bit of a weird time with [Warner]… it’s a whole thing. I couldn’t really say anything, so it just seemed like, ‘Where’s Leigh-Anne? Where’s the music? What’s going on?’ I obviously left my label; I’m now signed with Virgin. I’m fully independent, guys! But honestly, it’s been the most amazing thing for me. I feel like it just needed to happen, to be honest. I’ve been in this industry for how long now? What’s the point in doing it if I’m not doing it my way? So that’s all positive now, and I feel really excited and really good. But when that was all happening and I was in the midst of it all, I lost both of my dogs in the space of a month. It’s just crazy. It was unexpected and they’re literally like my babies. They’re part of the family. Losing both of them in such a short space of time was vile. I’m still coming to terms with it now. It’s just been a weird time. But I think the reason why I wanted to do this video is because, sometimes when you’re going through something and you really can’t see the light, it doesn’t feel like you’re going to be be okay again… You will. You are gonna be. I’m feeling really good now. I feel like there’s so much to look forward to. I can’t WAIT to get this music out. I just wanna say thank you for sticking by me. I can’t wait for this new era. Love you all so much, and I’m gonna be seeing you really soon!”
