The passenger continued recording at Lower Parel and questioned the TTE’s behaviour. Another ticket-checking official stepped in, explained the situation and apologized. The passenger then asked to meet station authorities and submit a formal complaint with the video as evidence. Why do some senior TTEs behave as if they are above the law? 🚨 VIP culture is out of control and the public is paying the price. A man driving calmly in his own lane gets bullied by police not for breaking rules, but simply because a “VVIP” is passing. The lane was already clear. Still, the officer chose intimidation over duty. 👉 Roads are built with taxpayers’ money not reserved for politicians. 👉 Security doesn’t mean stripping citizens of dignity. 👉 This kind of arrogance isn’t protection it’s abuse of power. Enough is enough. Respect the law, not the status.

In the video, a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) can be seen arguing with a Nihang Sikh passenger who was reportedly traveling in a 3rd AC coach without a valid ticket. When confronted, the Nihang Sikh admitted that he did not have a ticket. The TTE questioned how he could travel in an AC coach without a ticket, to which the passenger responded affirmatively, saying he could travel anywhere. The TTE reminded him that Khalsa is known for its reputation and dignity, and accused the passenger of speaking disrespectfully. No railway authority even seemed bothered to address the situation. There was not even enough space to walk to the washroom. People were sleeping on the floor, near the doors, and everywhere possible. The TC came and saw everything, but did not say a single word. It looks like this has become normal for Indian Railways. I have sympathy for these passengers, but if Railways already know that general coach passengers are more, then why not add more general coaches? Why are sleeper coaches being turned into general coaches every day? For years, passengers have been raising the same issue, posting photos and videos, tagging officials, and still nothing changes. Indian Railways talks about modernization and new trains, but what about basic crowd management and passenger safety in normal trains? And please, do not ask me for the PNR. Asking for the PNR will not solve this issue. This is not one passenger’s problem. This is the daily reality of thousands of people.
