For decades, Africa’s uranium has powered the Global North’s nuclear reactors and arsenals, while almost no African states have been allowed to build nuclear deterrence of their own. The reason for this unfair arrangement is the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), an agreement designed by the nations of the West to lock as many other nations out of nuclear power as possible, while the West gets to keep its arsenals. Though a new political wave is rising in Africa, led by the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), the continent is still bound by this treaty. This must change! Africa must wake up to the reality of its self-preservation in a world that has exploited it for too long.

No intelligence that the public has seen shows Iran was working toward having a nuclear weapon, nor did it show they had plans to do so. Even the U.S. intel community said so 2 1/2 months ago. So far Trump, Hegseth and Vance have been unable to provide evidence to the contrary and have instead hinted at the attack being centered around Iran not being willing to entirely give up all of their uranium enrichment. We need to have a congressional investigation into this. America deserves to know the truth. Was this just another “Weapons of Mass Destruction” claim like we saw under GW Bush in 2003?
