Any reasonable planning authority would encourage a much larger car park and an increased number of entrances and exits. There is also clearly capacity for business expansion to bring in investment to the area.

Went on a Friday a few weeks back at about 3:30pm…. No queues at all 😎 Drove past Saturday morning, considered going back in, but kept driving! 😱 Went to the Grand Tour tent at Jeremy’s pub not far away and topped up on souvenirs from there.

I’ve managed to avoid those queues, twice. I’ve never understood why they don’t do online ticketing, a max number per hour with a refundable £10 deposit. The queues would disappear and the £10 would ensure the no-shows would be minimal.
