U2 were my fav back in high school, and I never got the opportunity to see them as a kid. So, my wife got us tix for the Joshua Tree anniversary tour and we traveled to Philly. Great experience. Saw them again at The Sphere - which was its own experience.

Yeah 1997. Turned up in London on my bicycle at brother's having cycled from Scotland. They were headed out. Got me a ticket to Wembley. Didn't tell me who we were going to see.

Yes June 20th 1997 PopMart tour at the Oakland Coliseum, I was not a U2 fan but my friend had an extra ticket and ended up having a pretty good time they put on a good show. Oasis and Smash Mouth were the opening bands and they were awesome! Still have the article 29 years later
