look into adding sports and yearly festivals to your travel vlogs. How do locals around the world do pre game activities before a sporting event, or a yearly festival like a winter carnival in colder climates? I think those are a good look into a locals way of life

Going to less visited places. Your most interesting travel videos were the ones to Greenland, Transnistria and Ukraine at war. Just don't take uncalculated risks and be safe, please!

Involve locals in your itinerary like you’ve done with Geography Go, connect your travel vlogs to your country videos. Stay the heck away from the major tourist sites, they have been covered to death and will not do you any good in boosting your travel vlogs.

I think it would be cool if you made videos about unrecognized countries with footage of you actually in those countries too getting the opinions of some locals about it. Kind of like your Transnistria video. Could also do autonomous regions of countries.

What if you focused on borders? I think many people think of countries as cultural monoliths but you could change people's thinking by honing in on the cultural intersections that take place at borders, which are so often arbitrary

Check out what Bald and Bankrupt did for a long time - visited weird and remote corners of Russia, Afghanistan, the Darien Gap... that man has been to some pretty obscure and frankly dangerous places.

considering your main series was mostly about countries, how about this time you focus on their capital cities, and ask a local resident what are some of the best food places/sightseeing places to visit Or like what others have said, less visited places - esp/ >1mil pop cities

Study your audience I'd say we like your humor, your well-made/researched videos, discovering new things about a country. Also, ask yourself why you don't want to be like the other vloggers. What's the flaw you want to avoid? Do you think you need to be original/different? Why?

1/2 Honestly, I don't particularly care if it is "basic". 1. Do something you're interested in doing that fits within the theme of the channel. 2. Present it in an entertaining way.

Come back to Scotland and visit a wind farm like @Visit_Whitelee 🏴⚡️🌬️📸
