THIS IS FALSE!!!! “Feelin’ It” was NEVER a Camp Lo record and Jay never got it in exchange for “Luchini.” It was originally a Ski SOLO record featuring Geechi Suede from Camp Lo and Mecca on the hook. Ski had a verse and wrote the hook. He played it for Jay and Jay wanted it for “Reasonable Doubt.” He offered to buy it and also asked for Ski’s blessing to use his flow on parts of the song. Ski accepted the offer, Jay wrote 3 new verses and kept Mecca on the hook.

For those that didn’t play sports but were still popping all the cheerleaders and whom tried being average but it just wasn’t for them. Spring 2009, year one of the Obama days, CHUCK INGLISH said it. & Mikey Rocks dropped “Gone Fishing”, their second project as THE COOL KIDS, with Don Cannon™, produced by Chuck and JP. “Gone Fishing” has that energy of lunch table freestyles with the homies but supercharged with the songwriting expertise of two artists on a mission. It feels like warm weather and fly fits. “Hammer Bros”, “Pennies”, and “Popcorn” are the obvious stand-out tracks with their infectious hooks, fire verses & production that sticks to your brain like gum to a desk, but I want to highlight “Broadcasting Live”. It blends a perfect balance of that table-top banging energy and an electronic influence, with verses that both impress and inspire. As streaming continues to evolve, we are losing recipes. Mixtapes and CDs are fading away. History is still history … and “Gone Fishing” is historic. Give it a listen. - BeezInTheTraperture.✍🏽 🐝🎶

But the Hindu girls only knew the name of their holy book. They could not recite even one shloka (verse). Whose fault is this? The way Jay-Z slimed out Lil Wayne was vicious. At the peak of Carter V anticipation and the Cash Money lawsuit with Lil Wayne and Birdman, he released the Free Weezy album (FWA) as an exclusive to TIDAL, Jay-Z's company. Jay-Z would later sell TIDAL for 300 million, making 6x the 50 million that he had paid for it, and getting to be on the board of Square with Jack Dorsey (founder of Cash App and Twitter). And then, when the opportunity came to have Lil Wayne do a performance at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, he stiff-arms him and puts Kendrick Lamar there instead. (Ye also contributed an exclusive in The Life of Pablo, and both of these albums drove a significant amount of users to Tidal. But with how disrespectful Ye has gotten, speaking out about Jay-Z, and then more recently about his children, it's to be expected that Jay-Z doesn't do anything for him or even speak to him. But Lil Wayne has never uttered a single word about Jay and only shown him love, including throwing up the ROC during this era. )
