Today marks 25 years since Brian Moore passed away. This was ITV’s moving tribute to him shortly after his death. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest football commentators/presenters we’ve ever had. A true gentleman of the game. ❤️

💔💔COBB COUNTY, GA💔💔💔 FROM FB: Today, while volunteering at the shelter and walking my row of dogs, I noticed a different dog in another row sitting quietly in the corner of her kennel… shaking and trying to make herself as small as possible. I looked at her kennel card and learned her name was Hazel and she had just been surrendered yesterday . 😭💔 I decided to go sit with her, hoping I could make her day just a little bit better. Little did I know… she would be the one making mine.🥹 Hazel was terrified and unsure of everyone around her. But little by little, she found the courage to take one step… then another… until she came over, kissed my face, and reminded me just how sweet she truly is. I later learned that Hazel was surrendered because the family cat repeatedly attacked her. 🥺 And through no fault of her own, she lost the only home she knew. Hazel is only 2 years old. She’s dog-friendly, good with kids, housebroken, and crate-trained. She has so much love to give, yet tonight she’s sleeping in a shelter kennel instead of a home. I spent a long time with her today, holding her close and reminding her that she is a good girl… that she is loved, that she is seen, and that someone still cares about her. Before I closed her kennel door, I made Hazel a promise.. I promised her I would share her story with the world. And I told her that I have an incredible village of people who always show up when a dog needs them most. Now I’m asking that village for one more favor. Please help me keep my promise to Hazel. 🥺🙏🏻😭 Share her story. Tell your friends and family about her. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, fostering, or rescuing, please consider giving Hazel the forever home she deserves. Let’s show Hazel that yesterday wasn’t the end of her story… it was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. ❤️ Hazel is up for adoption at : 📍Cobb County Animal Services in Marietta, GA. ID: (20451) Kennel : (30) ☎️ (770) 499-4136

But it’s great, everyone on that set is really sweet. It’s nice to meet people who are that established and they are still just so grounded and sweet and kind. People are upset CBS mocked Dante Moore to Miami at #1 in their way too early (key words) mock draft for 2027's class? Why? Kid is a stud if you watch the film and not the box score. Elite accuracy, touch and placement, unbelievable poise in the pocket under pressure and he's really accurate outside of structure, not to mention he reached a top speed of 20 mph vs Iowa in November, so he is far from slow footed too. He's going to be even better with another year under his belt as a starter, did you see how good he looked at the Oregon spring game? Does everyone also not know the history of returning Oregon QBs who went on to have huge Senior seasons? Mariota returned to win a Hesiman, Nix stayed back and was a Heisman candidate, Herbert returned and won the Rose Bowl, Harrington returned and was 4th in Heisman voting while leading Oregon to a Fiesta Bowl and Oregon's best season ever to that point if memory serves me correct, etc. Dante Moore is going to ball this year and it'll be him, Arch, Mensah, Carr, Mestemaker, Bailey, Sellers, Maiava, etc. battling it out to be the #1 pick in 2027 (2028 is going to be my guy JKS, Washington, Underwood, Carr if he returns, etc.). If Malik flops, sign me up all day for Moore in 2027. #PhinsUp

The Housing Crash Nobody Wants to Talk About Please ❤️like, bookmark🔖, and 🔁share with fellow investors In this Short video, Melody Wright Melody Wright and Adam Taggart discuss why the U.S. housing market could be headed for a prolonged downturn that may ultimately prove worse than the 2008 housing crash. * The U.S. housing market may look stable on the surface, but the biggest problems are only beginning to emerge. While national home prices have not fallen significantly, Melody believes the market is effectively frozen and could be headed for a correction that ultimately exceeds the Global Financial Crisis in both depth and duration. * The core issue isn't supply—it's demand. There simply aren't enough qualified buyers. The spring selling season, normally the strongest period for home sales, was a major disappointment. Lower mortgage rates early in the year briefly created optimism, but geopolitical uncertainty quickly reversed that momentum. As a result, housing activity remains sluggish. * The buyers who are still transacting fall into two main groups: affluent households purchasing higher-end homes and buyers using government-backed financing programs such as FHA, Fannie Mae, or Freddie Mac. Outside those segments, affordability has become a major obstacle, leaving much of the market without sufficient demand. * The market is also becoming increasingly bifurcated. In parts of the South and West, home sales have picked up compared to last year, but prices are declining as sellers accept lower offers to complete transactions. That's genuine price discovery. Meanwhile, the Northeast and Midwest continue to see weak sales volumes, with June transactions down roughly 7% year over year. Because so few homes are changing hands, median prices have remained relatively stable, masking underlying weakness. * Melody argues that this cycle differs from 2008 in several important ways. One major concern is demographics. Younger generations simply don't have the purchasing power needed to replace aging homeowners at current price levels. Affordability challenges, higher living costs, and slower household formation limit the pool of future buyers. Another difference is the absence of a likely rescue from institutional investors. After the financial crisis, large firms purchased distressed homes and converted them into rental properties, helping stabilize the market. Melody doubts that level of institutional buying will return during this cycle. If private demand remains weak, the government could eventually become the buyer of last resort by purchasing excess housing inventory and converting it into affordable housing programs. * The timeline is another key part of the thesis. The previous housing downturn took roughly four to five years to bottom, but this cycle could last even longer because demographic pressures may persist into the mid-2030s. Instead of a sharp collapse followed by a quick recovery, Melody expects a prolonged period of stagnation and gradual price adjustment. * One event that could dramatically accelerate the process would be a major stock market correction. A significant decline in equities $SPX $QQQ would reduce household wealth, weaken consumer confidence, and further erode purchasing power, potentially causing housing prices to fall much faster than they otherwise would. * So, today's housing market isn't healthy simply because national prices remain elevated. Beneath the surface, demand is weak, affordability remains stretched, regional markets are diverging, and long-term structural forces continue to point toward a prolonged housing downturn that many investors may be underestimating. #housingmarket 💡 Get access to my notes with the key takeaways from this interview with Melody Wright Melody Wright by visiting my Substack (link below) ⬇️

Democrats have a lot of strong contenders for 2028 — including my governor, Gavin Newsom, whom I love, trust, and respect. Having known him for decades, I can tell you: Gavin would make a formidable candidate and a fantastic president. Also, Governors Shapiro, Pritzker, Bashear, and Whitmer are beyond impressive — and they are generating a lot of well-deserved buzz. All of these great leaders — and more — have earned a close look and a fair shot. BUT DO NOT SLEEP ON MARYLAND’S GOVERNOR — WES MOORE. If we mainly need to win back working-class voters (especially YOUNG MEN) for Team Blue while keeping the respect and support of women of all colors, Wes Moore may be the answer for Democrats. First of all, he has a military background — with the military bearing to prove it. In other words, he is fit as hell. He works out with pro football players. He could go toe-to-toe with The Rock in an arm-wrestling contest. Image matters — especially for the non-college men whom we can no longer concede in such overwhelming numbers. Substantively, as governor, he’s been a bridge builder and a problem solver. He handled his state’s catastrophic bridge collapse in a way that drew applause across the aisle. He united Republicans and Democrats to pass legislation to help ALL poor kids — whether they are in blue cities or red rural areas. He’s a LEADER who can handle immediate crises AND chronic, seemingly intractable problems at the same time. Also — he is just a good guy. He is a rock-solid husband and father. He’s a man of deep faith — and deeper compassion. He’s a brother you would be lucky to call your neighbor — and proud to call your friend. Trump and Elon are acting like supervillains. Maybe Democrats should nominate a guy who looks and acts like a superhero! His 2028 slogan could be: “America deserves Moore.” And if you have never heard of Wes Moore, YOU’RE WELCOME. Remember the name. Who do you think should be the next Democratic nominee?

Good Morning on this the Pupturds 4th Birthday.🎈 4 years ago many of us tuned into the Litterbox to hear that Sweetie had her puppies. I never thought I would be blessed with Wings and Pirate. I am grateful to Cat for entrusting us with the puppies.❤️ Today, I did a video from the start till now. I have been listening to Jimmy Buffet and wanted to do one of his songs. Yes, I have some names wrong! And check out Pirate’s “Chewy Vuitton” bag to hold her loot. I hope you enjoy!!!🎉🎊🎈🧁🐶

A wake up call for everyone who still dismisses AOC as a serious 2028 contender. She just got a boost from 3 key far left voices: Hasan Piker: “She’s great…I think she can do it.” DSA co-chair Megan Romer: “There’s a lot of enthusiasm for AOC.” Zohran Mamdani: “The congresswoman would be viable no matter what decision she makes.” Don’t forget the July Granite State Poll of New Hampshire voters: AOC came on top of a crowded field. The candidate who should be embarrassed is Gavin Newsom: running hard for months and stuck in 4th place at single digits, 8%. And to the “too progressive to win” crowd: even if Democrats ultimately pick someone more centrist—Newsom, Shapiro, Beshear, etc—they will want a woman on the ticket, and they will want to keep their progressive base energized for the election. A strong AOC primary showing could put her a heartbeat away regardless of who’s on top.
