Elon Musk was asked how fast AI is moving. His answer wasn’t about the technology. It was about the one man who got it all right and was still too conservative. Musk: “I have to give credit to Ray Kurzweil in being actually remarkably accurate in his predictions. If anything, I think he was perhaps a bit conservative in his predictions.” Kurzweil spent 30 years making forecasts that made serious people uncomfortable. He predicted timelines that sounded impossible. He was mocked for it. He was right about nearly all of them. And Musk just called him conservative. Musk: “The dedicated AI compute appears to be growing by a factor of 10 every six months.” 10x every six months. Musk: “Almost a 100x improvement per year, at least for the next few years.” Moore’s Law was a 2x improvement every two years. That single curve drove every technological shift of the last 50 years. The internet. Smartphones. Cloud computing. All of it rode a 2x curve. AI is on a 100x curve. And the current infrastructure isn’t running beside the new one. It’s becoming it. Musk: “Probably a lot of the data centers, maybe most of the data centers that currently do conventional compute, will transition to AI compute.” Everything that runs the world you know is being rewired for the world that comes next. Human beings process the future in straight lines. We take the speed of the last decade and project it forward. Exponential growth doesn’t work that way. It’s invisible until it’s everywhere. The hardest of decisions has been made. Tomorrow afternoon, our vet, who has been with us every step of this journey, will come to our home and help Ralph cross. Despite eating copious amounts of food, he lost 500kg in 3 weeks, down from 3kg to 2.5kg. His temperature is too low as he is too weak to regulate his body and he is showing signs of muscle weakness. Although no indicator for pain (we checked, twice), he is literally withering away and prolonging this will be completely and utterly for us, not for him and you all know by now, we would never, ever do that to our kids. He is home, on top of our warm bed and he will be so spoiled the next 24 hours. He will be hugged so much and will be told we love him until the moment he slips away in our arms Simon and I are devastated this is happening a 3rd time this year and this has been my fear for many, many years. Thank you all for being there for us and keep Ralph in your thoughts tomorrow as he starts his journey over the rainbow bridge.

Ish's ego is so huge, he asked Joe for a great restaurant recommendation, Joe texted him the name, and he went with his girl and had a great time. He never bothered thanking Joe. When Joe asked him why, his answer was, 'We are men.' When he got push back to that , He tried to Ish himself out of the situation (a term I made up for him, since he does this so much, meaning he accuses you of the exact thing he's been accused of). The cast pulled out text messages of them thanking Ish all the time. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Today we were told that the kings health has taken a turn for the worse, and as we await news, it’s hard to shake the feeling that the nation is losing its collective grandfather or father. King Harald was the first king to be born in Norway in 567 years. Since then he has been part of the Norwegian experience in so many ways, like a personification of a modern Norway. As a young child he had to flee the country when Germany occupied Norway during WW2, he spent part of his childhood as a refugee in the US. He would later grow up, and fall in love with and marry a commoner. Despite his father originally being against it. He also represented us in the Olympics, as a sailor, multiple times. He carried our flag in the Tokyo Olympics. He was also a lifelong football fan, a Tottenham fan to be specific, and a lover of sports in general. He has been present for numerous Norwegian athletes over the years. And he has also been present for so many ordinary Norwegians, whether they were going through the better or the worse part of their lives. But despite all that, king Harald had large shoes to fill when he started his reign. His father, king Olav, was loved. But over the years, king Harald has earned the people’s hearts. And he has done so by being there by our side, crying with us when the nation was hurting, celebrating when we had reason to celebrate. He has openly embraced that Norwegian people come in many different forms and shapes, and has had an amazing ability to be everyone’s king. A rock that we could all rely on. So, as we brace for the news, whatever they may be, one thing is for sure.. it has been a privilege and an honor to grow up in King Harald Vs Norway. We couldn’t have asked for a better king 🌹

Woozi was called an obedient white puppy bc the staff said he almost never expressed anything about himself at all, wouldn’t say he was sick even if he was, wouldn’t say he was having a hard time even if he was struggling. That day during the interview session, he was barely moving and said that he was in a situation where he couldn't move comfortably, but he still participated in 6 performances perfectly, with the brightest smile on his face 🥹 He said that he didn’t like talking about being sick since he was little bc when he talked about it, it felt like he was the only one who was having a hard time while everyone else was also struggling 💔
