Although some people would think this is nice, keep in the back of your mind that they know they will be away from family, they will not eat hot meals, and they might not come home. Fear shadows any smiles you may see. Try eating this with butterflies in your stomach.

Yep yep.. that is in fact a deployment meal. But it has also been served during special occasions.

As a Navy vet who went on two West PACs, I can tell you that we were treated well on Thanksgiving and Christmas

It is and they are in a DFAC, which means they’re overseas somewhere not stateside. It was also the 250th army birthday, hence the parade. That’s more likely the reason for the steak and lobster. Most holidays have this meal.

They should eat like that every meal!

Damn at least give them some USDA Prime. Not some TV dinner “steak”.

Essentially same as the last meal served to someone on death row.

Why does that guy have a beard?

You wonderful men and women deserve that meal!! God Bless and be with each and every one of you, and bring you back home whole in Jesus Christ’s Holy Name!!!✨✝️✨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This video made me emotional. These brave men and women deserve all the best.
