Mary's body is in the backseat of James' car, here's an off-camera look. In the Stillness ending, he hallucinates that her dead body has come back to life. He killed her a few days ago and has since kept her in the car, according to the novel. He tries to convince himself she died 3 years ago, but in fact she was diagnosed 3 years ago, and that's when she "died" to him. This news is really heartbreaking. I keep thinking about when he shared that in his family, no one has ever passed the age of 45 and it’s such a painful reality to carry. Hearing now that his brother has also passed just a few days ago makes it even heavier. My heart goes out to him and his entire family during this difficult time. I pray God gives them strength, comfort, and peace, and may his brother’s soul rest in perfect peace.

New video has emerged of Alex Pretti clashing with federal officers 11 days before he was shot dead in Minneapolis. The footage shows the nurse taken to the ground by ICE officers after swearing at them kicking their vehicle and smashing a tail light. After he breaks free, what appears to be a handgun is visible in his waistband but he does not reach for it. It's not known if any officers at this incident were also there when Pretti was killed last Saturday. Two of those involved in the fatal shooting have now been placed on administrative leave.
