Heart-breaking images coming out from Jasper. A devastating wildfire has engulfed the town of Jasper. The fire, fuelled by fierce winds, has resulted in a wall of flames reaching 300 to 400 feet high, destroying homes and businesses. This isn't normal. #ActOnClimate

If this is not normal, how do you describe the Midwest fires of 1871? Cyclical?

Wasn’t climate change. It was spruce bark beetles killing the trees, that became tinder.

No. It is not normal. Our climate is not acting normally. Fires more often, more of them, more dangerous. Storms bigger and worse and more frequent. Floods the same. But I don't recall hearing the words 'climate change in Danielle Smith's almost a tear presser this PM.
