It's not compound interest, it's even simpler, just picking the maximum of three different things and adding each year for 10 years will get you more than the maximum of any after ten yes But geez, narcissistic wordcels doing numbers is painful

He actually does a wonderful job of explaining why inflation figures are fake, because the triple lock ensures pensions go up ahead of inflation if, say, average wages increase more. And yet, the pension is truly derisory because real inflation is so much higher.
