HEAT [1995] Directed by Michael Mann ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

@mikemoviez Brilliant movie. Besides the cast and Mann's visual and action chops, I love its refusal to strip away the good stuff that gives it heart in the name of moving faster. (This may be a minority opinion).

@mikemoviez

@mikemoviez The gun battle scene in this movie is outstanding.

@mikemoviez One of many great scenes. Mann was so on point with this film.

@mikemoviez This is that diner. It was the Broiler but now it’s a Bob’s Big Boy. It’s in Downey, CA. I go there sometimes. At one point it was almost torn down.

@mikemoviez The gif I have used the most in my lifetime

@mikemoviez Classic Cold Stare from Sizemore.

@mikemoviez Great movie! Al, Robert, and Val were firing on all cylinders.

@mikemoviez “U want sum pie?”

@mikemoviez Masterpiece. Along with Manhunter, Collateral, and The Insider. Michael Mann rules

@mikemoviez Only one who got away

@mikemoviez Iconic

@mikemoviez I watched this again the other day since everyone has been praising it and I’ve always thought it was MEH. I actually did enjoy it more but Pacino’s acting was just horribly over the top like it has been since the 90s. De Niro was great though.

@mikemoviez Love this movie But this is one of the most unrealistic scenes How on hell would such a professional crew settle their disputes with Wangro in the middle of a crowded dinner ? Even more , Neal hitting him on the head and bringing attention to the table ?

@mikemoviez I love these kinds of films, but I couldn’t get into this one and for the life of me I couldn’t tell you why. Believe me, I know that I’m in the minority on this one.

@mikemoviez ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@mikemoviez Great Film

@mikemoviez

@mikemoviez You just missed the best line, "Anyone want some pie?"

@mikemoviez RIP to the legendary Val Kilmer 🔥

@mikemoviez Not quite 5 stars. They need to cut out at least 75% of the scenes with Patino’s wife and the other guys wives. And Deniro and his girl had ZERO chemistry. Other than that, it’s perfect.

@mikemoviez Shout out to Tom Sizemore for his role in this. One of my favorite actors.
