Dry for many this afternoon, but a higher chance of showers compared to yesterday🌤️ Scattered slow-moving downpours developing, chiefly across Wales, the Midlands and northern England, these slowly drifting northwards🌦️ A warmer day for many, but cooler in the far northwest📈

Generally warm this week but potentially turning very warm, if not rather hot and humid across parts of England 🌡️ Especially in the southeast from midweek, though it won’t be all sunshine, with the chance of thunderstorms developing ⛈️

Western Europe is heating up fast 🌡️ A potentially record-breaking heatwave is taking shape, peaking midweek. Parts of France could top 40°C (104°F) this week, with the heat pushing into southern England and Wales.

Not sure if this is adding to the haze in the air but it can’t be helping the air quality around the State House in Boston at the moment #7News

There's more rain on the way this week 🌧️ It won't be raining all the time but showers are likely for many, with Thursday looking like the wettest day. Totals will build as the week goes on👇

#CRISTOBAL is likely to form in the Atlantic this week. However, powerful wind shear is forecast to rip it apart as it enters the Caribbean this weekend. Regardless of development much needed rain is coming for the Lesser Antilles and Puerto Rico. #tropicalupdate 🌀🌀🌀

Farmers and growers in England and Wales are likely to be disappointed as there remains no significant rain in the forecast through the week ahead 🥀 It's a much better/wetter story though in Scotland and Northern Ireland 🌧️
