From Morgan Stanley to Ripple to Hedera: Building the Shopify of Institutional Asset Tokenization The world is moving toward a system where everyone, not just millionaires, can access high-quality real world assets. In our conversation with Anil, the founder of cSigma Finance, he explained how global investors and real businesses are being left out of traditional financial systems, and why DLT such as Hedera finally makes this possible. Anil spent nearly two decades in financial services, from Morgan Stanley to building institutional grade credit products Ripple, before launching cSigma in 2023. Today his team is building the full infrastructure layer for asset originators to bring institutional grade financial assets onchain. Here are the key insights straight from the interview: • Investors outside financial centers struggle to access high quality assets. • Even in developed countries, most people are shut out of institutional opportunities. • Mid-market businesses often pay extremely high APR because traditional lenders cannot efficiently serve smaller ticket credit. • cSigma connects these businesses directly with global stablecoin liquidity using a compliant, blockchain native process. • More than 80 million dollars in fully collateralized, legally enforceable real world assets have already been originated. • Higher yields are possible without speculative token incentives. • Asset originators are reducing their cost of capital by 20 to 30 percent. • cSigma built a complete stack: AI credit analysis, legal and compliance rails, risk monitoring, tokenization standards, and real settlement workflows. • Permissioned institutional capital and permissionless global liquidity now interact through one architecture designed for regulation and scale. Anil’s thoughts on 2026 were clear: Anyone with even 1000 dollars should be able to build a diversified portfolio of institutional grade assets. Tokenization makes this possible. Hedera makes this possible. This is what democratizing finance actually looks like. Podcast supported by HashPack Wallet Hedera Hashgraph Hedera Foundation

The value of the work we're doing at Optimum is encapsulated quite well by the phrase "speed is money". In modern markets there are real economic advantages to latency reduction. This is nothing new. Wall Street firms have long been optimizing on latency, primarily through colocation and top of the line hardware. However, when it comes to decentralized systems, expensive hardware and geographic concentration are antithetical to their purpose. Therefore we should optimize decentralized network latency through software, which I'm thrilled about because it's exactly what I've spent the better part of the past 2 decades working on with Random Linear Network Coding. Now let’s talk about networking economics, the relationship between speed and money. First, it's important to note that users will only pay for low latency if it can be consistently guaranteed. Second, you can only make that latency guarantee for a certain number of users. This is a universal law of networking. We can model this relationship on a delay curve, shown below. The delay curve is determined by the utilization rate of the network, meaning how much traffic is flowing through the network divided by the network's throughput. As you approach a level of traffic equal to the available throughput, latency trends infinitely higher. On this delay curve we can impose some utility thresholds. These thresholds are the levels of latency which are important to different groups of users because of how that latency guarantee improves their economic outcomes. Finding the point on the curve where each threshold intersects will tell us what level of traffic we can guarantee that level of latency for. Essentially, there exists a finite supply of speed on a network and the highest utility users of that speed are willing to pay more for it. I like to think of this similarly to expedited shipping options on Amazon. This is why we say speed is money, and why we can create a Latency Marketplace. The only way to increase the supply of speed is to fundamentally increase network throughput. This is what we work on at Optimum by using Random Linear Network Coding. The same relationship between traffic and throughput still applies, but now the delay curve is shifted out further to the right. Now more traffic can be processed at the same latency, or the same traffic can be processed at a lower latency. More speed available to the network. More value unlocked for the network’s users. Crucially, that value is no longer only reserved for those who can afford to sit closest to the machine. Expanding the supply of speed widens who can reach each latency threshold, keeping the network's advantage decentralized rather than concentrated in the hands of a few. When nodes join Optimum and participate, they reap the benefits, but they also add to the capacity. Rather than vying against each other in a zero-sum game, nodes help themselves and others.

#JASMY defines the core of #Japan’s Web3 era. 🌐 For the Land of the Rising Sun, Web 3.0 is not merely a technical evolution of the existing Internet, but a profound structural shift in the way value, trust, and data are organized within the digital space. As conceptualized by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Web 3.0 must be built on a decentralized architecture in which individuals are no longer passive users of digital services, but autonomous actors capable of owning, controlling, and directly leveraging their data, digital identities, and assets. This vision stands in clear contrast to the Web 2.0 model, where information and value are concentrated within large platforms that capture the majority of the data and revenues generated by online interactions. Within this new paradigm, blockchain plays a fundamental role as a trust infrastructure. Through distributed ledgers and cryptographic mechanisms, it becomes possible to establish direct relationships between individuals, organizations, and services without relying on a central authority to validate exchanges. Mutual authentication, data integrity, and traceability are natively ensured by the protocol itself, while significantly reducing management and intermediation costs. Web 3.0 is thus expected to guarantee the uniqueness and authenticity of exchanged information, while offering strong resistance to data falsification or manipulation. A central pillar of this Japanese vision lies in the redefinition of data ownership. METI emphasizes that one of the major imbalances of today’s Internet stems from the excessive concentration of personal and industrial data in the hands of large digital platforms. Web 3.0, by contrast, aims to return ownership to individuals and data producers themselves, enabling them to freely determine the conditions under which their data may be used, shared, or monetized. This approach is part of a broader effort to rebalance digital power and restore trust in the digital economy, fully aligned with Japan’s principles of data circulation based on trust, notably the concept of Data Free Flow with Trust. The Japanese government also views Web 3.0 as a foundational layer for the emergence of new forms of digital economy. Tokenization whether through cryptocurrencies, utility tokens, governance tokens, or NFTs, makes it possible to represent and exchange value in a programmable and transparent manner. This gives rise to economic models in which users become direct stakeholders in the ecosystems they participate in, spanning content creation, decentralized communities, and innovative digital services. From this perspective, Web 3.0 is seen as a catalyst for industrial innovation and international competitiveness for Japan, particularly in areas such as the metaverse, the creator economy, and next-generation digital infrastructures. Finally, Japan’s vision of Web 3.0 extends far beyond financial or purely technological considerations. It is embedded in a broader societal strategy aimed at building a more equitable, resilient digital economy that is better aligned with human values. By restoring individual control over data and fostering digital interactions based on trust rather than centralization, Web 3.0 is envisioned as one of the pillars of a digital society capable of sustaining innovation while respecting the sovereignty of individuals, communities, and nations.

🎙 Episode 1 Is Live: Visa x WeFi This is a major milestone for us. Our first official podcast with Visa is now live, and we’re opening with one of the most important conversations in modern finance: stablecoins and the convergence of traditional payments and crypto. The conversation features Alexandra Soroko, Growth Product & Partnerships at Visa, and Michael Batuev, Head of Global Payments at WeFi. 👉 This episode goes beyond surface level commentary. We explore how Visa views stablecoins not as a passing trend, but as infrastructure. While they still represent less than 1 percent of global money flows, their efficiency, speed, and programmability position them as a powerful new layer in how money moves globally. Visa has been observing and building in crypto since 2018. Innovation at that scale requires navigating regulation, technology, and multiple geographies. But when they integrate something new, it connects to a network of more than 150 million merchants worldwide. That scale turns innovation into real world access. A key theme in the discussion is convergence. Fintech companies like WeFi move fast, design around users, and ship quickly. Global payment networks bring distribution, resilience, and trust. The future is not about replacement. It is about combining strengths. Will stablecoins replace fiat? Unlikely. The strongest innovations coexist and enhance what already exists. Stablecoins can evolve into a powerful financial rail while remaining connected to established payment systems, making them usable in everyday life. At WeFi, we are at the forefront of this movement. By working within established infrastructure like Visa and building products designed around real user needs, we are helping bring stablecoins from theory into practical, global utility. Digital assets are no longer on the fringe. They are entering the core of global finance. Episode 1 is just the beginning. Watch now and be part of the conversation shaping the next chapter of payments 🌍

Yield farming are still one of the most unpopular part of web3 many CT users don’t explore, we are more into yap about this, which memes to buy into for the next 2000x possible But we don’t see the opportunity looking at our with amazing passive income we can get without literally doing anything I explored Virtue today a lending and borrowing platform on iota and why am I bullish on them? IOTA is quietly building the bridge that finally brings the real economy onchain and stablecoins are the foundation. Take $vUSD from Virtue Money as the perfect example, this isn’t just another stablecoin. It’s the reliable, battle tested dollar layer that $IOTA needs to onboard real users, real transactions, and realworld assets at global scale. ⭐️ What makes $vUSD different: • Fully collateralized • Transparent onchain reserves and management • Designed to grow steadily as adoption increases • Engineered for predictable payments and safer lending • Engineered to aid and provide yield opportunity for users When businesses, traders, developers, and even traditional institutions can move value on IOTA without volatility risk, everything changes. Payments become instant and cheap • Borrowing becomes trust minimized and with this RWAs actually start making sense. This is exactly the kind of secure, usable digital infrastructure that TWIN Foundation has been pushing for finance the world can actually rely on. As usual I explored them through LiquidLink, I love how united their platform is for a dashboard uniting both VirtueMoney and Swirl ⭐️ Plug in here: Don’t miss the Vooi with iota they are the global trade ✋🏼😩🤚🏻 #IOTAambassador

Part of our quest with Giiift is to make the internet fun again and actually make it easy and engaging to send digital assets between people. One of my recent brainwaves on AI was how it's now possible to create and build one to one experiences on the internet rather than the one to many model that we have had to use purely from a time and cost perspective with development, this is only feasible within the last six months and it's completely open territory. If you think of a fortnite skin for example, that's a one to many experience, where one skin is owned and purchased by many people, makes sense of course as creating individual experiences solely meant for one or a few people would have been incredibly costly for businesses, but that's simply not the case anymore. That's the thesis with Giiift, it firstly packages what onchain tech does best, provide the rails for sending assets from A to B in the most efficient manner possible, but secondly and most importantly it puts the end user experience first in a way that's very reminicent of the old school internet and I think this allows for an unprecedented level of virability in growing the userbase. All a trojan horse for getting onchain wallets and assets into the hands of everyday people around the world, powered by Prism and perfectly suits as retail assets come onchain through Agent to Agent commerce (more on this soon). Here's the progress we're making on the Box Lab, endless customizability! Oh and the music is:

🌅 The Dawn of the GCV Era — A New Chapter in the Pi Network Journey Dear Global Pioneers, Happy Sunday! Pi Network has been part of the world for over 6 and a half years — a long journey indeed. Think of it this way: 6.5 years is like a child growing from birth to elementary school. And just like a child, Pi has been learning, growing, and preparing for its next stage. Today, I want to congratulate all of you for still being here. You still hold Pi. You have stayed the course. As I have said many times, GCV has already won since Open Mainnet (OM) on February 20th, 2025. Smart pioneers with vision understand this — and that’s why they continue to work hard with full confidence. The logic is simple: building something great requires a strong foundation. If the foundation is weak, the first floor cannot stand. In the Pi Network, that foundation is GCV. Since OM, PCT, and the GCV Core Team have been constructing the first floor — the real economy, rooted in GCV. Now, whether someone supports GCV or opposes it, agrees or disagrees, the arguments no longer matter. GCV is no longer a theory — it is a reality. It is a real commercial economy already in motion. And this is why we are here: to protect all pioneers, secure their wealth, and develop the GCV ecosystem — locally through barter systems and the GCV Industry Alliance, and internationally as our network grows. This is the first floor we are building together. We are also pleased to share a historic update: the Pi Network’s decentralized exchange (DEX) infrastructure — including AMM, Oracle, Bridge, and Mainnet nodes — has now been fully activated at the Mainnet level. This is a major step toward Open Mainnet and the full realization of Pi’s internal economic system which must be based on GCV. This shows the foundation is solid, the first floor is rising, and the building is real. Global pioneers, this is your time. Your faith, vision, and dedication are what make this possible. GCV is no longer an idea — it is a movement, a verified path, and the reality of Pi’s economic ecosystem. So let’s continue building — together. Protect the network, grow the community, and develop the GCV economy in every city, region, and country. The dawn of the GCV era is here, and the next chapters are ours to create. Stay confident. Stay united. Keep building. Doris Yin🪷🪷🪷 Founder, Global GCV Movement October 26th 2025
