It was 1991...you had your friends over for Summer Slam (pestering your parents all week to PLEASE LET US BUY THE PPV!!). You had bags of Pizzarias and sodas and fruit by the foot strips. It was a different time. 🥹

Vince always knew how to go get us amped for the PPV events with the intros. Royal Rumble 1990 is a personal favorite of mines. Theme song and all was on point!😄

Sgt. Slaughter should have been tried for treason! Iraqi sympathizer, traitor to America! Can't believe he was allowed to wrestle as a free man within our nation's boundaries. Incredible.

I miss when effort was actually put into the product and they gave the fans something. Stopped watching last year. Couldn't take it anymore. Still watching the classics on Netflix.

As a kid, That main event never made any sense to me. Warrior was feuding with Undertaker and Jake Roberts at the time,iirc. A 'Desert storm match' for the title between Hogan and Sgt.Slaughter,wrapping up their feud, would have been a more logical main event.
