We strongly condemn such actions in our communities. To the people of Bushenyi, particularly Kyabujimbi, please stop the violence against women. Imagine a mother holding a young child being subjected to such treatment 😔. Let's work together to protect and respect our women. This was too much 😭, these men should be arrested Uganda Police Force Kituuma Rusoke .

Happening now: Uganda Police Force in Mbarara has just arrested this old woman alleging trespass on land for which she has letters of administration and for which a legal fight (estate issues) has been ongoing for the better part of ten years. The land is opposite the Coca-Cola plant in Mbarara. The lady is called Victoria Kabatoraine Ariau and is currently being held at CPS Mbarara. Her daughter’s phone has also been confiscated by police officers because she dared record this video. Kituuma Rusoke, surely, there’s a better way to handle this. Surely!! Also, why would land cases take more than ten years in court? #RuleOfLaw

Some rider had repeatedly told me about the extortion conducted by Police officers on boda boda riders at Jinja Road traffic lights police post, and I asked him to get evidence. He told me that his own bike was taken sometime back because he refused to remove Bobi Wine’s picture, though he had the permit and all else they asked for. Today he sent me this evidence. The conversation in the recording is with the traffic officer circled with green in the picture.
