Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) is appealing to the public for help identifying a suspect who allegedly entered a residence in Trenance Park, KZN on Sunday. The suspect is wanted in connection with a theft reported at the property. Video provided by the homeowner to the RUSA Operations Center shows the suspect on the premises prior to the incident. Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is urged to contact Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) immediately.

***Chief Garcia providing sound reference Officer Involved Shooting*** On May 16, 2026, at approximately 12:05 a.m., FWPD East Division officers were dispatched to multiple calls and text of shots being fired at the 4200 block of Wiman Drive. Officers arrived in the area and heard additional gunfire. While approaching, they observed an adult male suspect with a gun. Officers confronted the suspect and ordered him to drop the gun. The suspect did not obey commands and at one point was seen pointing his weapon toward the officers. At least one officer fired their gun and struck the suspect. Officers immediately provided medical aid to the male suspect until the Fort Worth Fire Department arrived to assist. The male suspect was pronounced deceased on scene. No officers were injured. Detectives from the Major Case unit were called to the scene and are continuing the investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4222. Drone First Responder Helps Officers Catch Shoplifting Suspect On June 17 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Arvada Police received a report from a loss prevention officer of an active shoplifting incident at the Target near 78th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. When confronted by store security, the suspect fled east on foot. Fortunately, our Drone First Responder (DFR) program was already in the air and quickly located the suspect, tracking his movements to a nearby Arby’s at 80th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. Responding officers arrived and were able to safely identify and contact the suspect inside the restaurant. During the investigation, officers discovered the suspect had an active arrest warrant and was allegedly responsible for stealing more than $340 worth of merchandise from the store. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to jail. The Drone First Responder program continues to provide officers with real-time information, helping improve response times and safely resolve incidents throughout our community.

Seen in the video is a white sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Chevrolet Malibu, traveling southbound through the intersection, striking the victim and knocking him unconscious. Although the victim appears to not have had the right-of-way, the driver of the white sedan failed to stop and render aid following the collision.
