*****GRAPHIC CONTENT ADVISORY****** Although this video may be extremely difficult to watch, it is an important example of the kinds of situations that our police officers may come across while performing their duties. Yesterday morning, October 23, 2025, two of our officers responded to a vehicular collision on I-30 between Eastchase Parkway and Cooks Lane that resulted in the female driver and an infant child being ejected from the vehicle. The infant was pinned beneath the overturned vehicle and was unresponsive. Sgt. R. Nichols (Badge #3590) and Officer E. Bounds (Badge #3521) with help from witnesses to the accident, were able to free the trapped infant. Sgt. Nichols immediately began to perform CPR on the unconscious infant, eventually waking the child and keeping her alive until Fort Worth Police arrived on scene. At this time, the woman and infant are in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery. We are beyond proud of the life saving actions performed by Sgt. Nichols and Officer Bounds for their bravery and quick response to this terrible scene. We are also grateful to the Fort Worth citizens who saw someone in danger and, without hesitation, assisted our officers. Report # 250079997

A routine call quickly turned into a lifesaving rescue! On Friday, June 12, 2026, around 12:05 p.m., Fort Worth Police officers responded to a report of a missing child near Dream Park. As officers searched the area, one officer spotted something yellow sticking up from the weeds near the water. When they moved closer, they discovered the child partially submerged along the shoreline. As officers approached, the child appeared disoriented and began moving farther into the water, at times going under the surface. Without hesitation, one of our officers entered the water and safely brought the child to shore before the situation could become even more dangerous. The child was evaluated by Fort Worth Fire Department as a precaution and is safe. This is a reminder that sometimes the difference between tragedy and relief is measured in seconds. FORT WORTH, TX – The Fort Worth Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on Prickly Pine Trail in the Sycamore Landing neighborhood and is asking for the community's help to identify the suspects seen in the attached videos. On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 2:17 a.m., South Division officers were dispatched to a shooting. As officers arrived, they observed multiple spent shell casings in front of the home. Bullet holes were observed through the garage door, front door and parked vehicles of that home. Officers determined people were inside the home during the shooting. Surveillance video shows two individuals walking up to the residence and shooting into the home. The two individuals then fled eastbound immediately after the shooting. Anyone with information regarding this incident or any other shooting in the Sycamore Landing neighborhood is encouraged to contact the Fort Worth Police Department South Division Criminal Investigations Division Unit at 817-392-3409. ***Chief Garcia providing sound reference Officer Involved Shooting*** On May 16, 2026, at approximately 12:05 a.m., FWPD East Division officers were dispatched to multiple calls and text of shots being fired at the 4200 block of Wiman Drive. Officers arrived in the area and heard additional gunfire. While approaching, they observed an adult male suspect with a gun. Officers confronted the suspect and ordered him to drop the gun. The suspect did not obey commands and at one point was seen pointing his weapon toward the officers. At least one officer fired their gun and struck the suspect. Officers immediately provided medical aid to the male suspect until the Fort Worth Fire Department arrived to assist. The male suspect was pronounced deceased on scene. No officers were injured. Detectives from the Major Case unit were called to the scene and are continuing the investigation. ***Chief Garcia providing sound regarding a critical police incident – officer involved shooting that occurred this morning.*** The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a critical police incident-officer involved shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in East Fort Worth. On May 16, 2026, at approximately 4:15 a.m., FWPD East Division officers were on scene working a previous officer involved shooting near the 4200 block of Wiman Drive. While still investigating the shooting, a white SUV drove by multiple times at a high rate of speed. It appeared the driver was attempting to hit officers standing near their vehicles. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver failed to stop. Officers pursued the SUV for approximately 15 minutes and eventually stopped the vehicle with a tactical vehicle intervention, also known as a PIT maneuver. Officers then approached the vehicle with their guns drawn and gave multiple verbal commands. The adult male subject did not comply with the officers’ orders and grabbed an officer’s handgun. At that point, multiple officers fired their guns and struck the suspect. Medical aid was provided by officers until the Fort Worth Fire Department arrived on scene. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. A Fort Worth Police Officer was injured during this incident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It is unknown at this point how the officer was injured. The officer is listed in good condition. Detectives from the Major Case unit were called to the scene and are continuing the investigation. 10 Arrested in Online Child Predator Sting From April 1 - 3, 2026, the Fort Worth Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit led an undercover crackdown called Operation Spring Cleaning, targeting individuals attempting to solicit minors online. Working alongside our partners at the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Crowley PD, Carrollton PD, HSI, U.S. Secret Service, and the FBI, investigators used multiple online platforms to proactively identify predators seeking sexual contact with children under 17. 10 suspects were arrested during the operation. 9 additional individuals are under investigation, with warrants expected. This operation is a strong reminder that law enforcement is already working to find anyone using the internet to target children. And to encourage parents to always be involved in who your children might be communicating with online or though social media platforms. Through continued collaborations, we remain committed to protecting our most vulnerable and holding offenders accountable. Due to the sensitivity of these cases, the information being released is all that is available as these investigations are ongoing.

We are requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit and run of pedestrian. On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at around 1:45 a.m. the victim seen in the video was crossing the roadway at 700 E. Felix St. and South Fwy. service road southbound. Seen in the video is a white sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Chevrolet Malibu, traveling southbound through the intersection, striking the victim and knocking him unconscious. Although the victim appears to not have had the right-of-way, the driver of the white sedan failed to stop and render aid following the collision.
