Thank you for being open and speaking to us like humans. It’s refreshing to get your perspective. As a Type 1 for over 26 years, carnivore has changed my life for the better. Thanks for all you do 👊🔥

statins are myotoxins, they absolutely should not be taken.

Help I'm carnivore, all my medical problems went away, I lost a bunch of unhealthy weight, I'm exercising just for fun now, I feel amazing, but some number on paper went up for one isolated test. I better stop the diet that saved me and go back to eating stupid again! 🤔

Who the heck knows. To your point, everyone is different. Scanning is something I’m going to get done before I’m 50 (46 now). But I know lowering carbs to under 50g per day has helped me in every facet of my wellbeing.

I appreciate the honesty here. This type of approach builds trust. thank you.

I've been on a very strict carnivore diet for the whole month of January, and I've worked out every day. I am now considerably leaner and I GAINED 2.5kg. I've been very strict, so ZERO carbs were consumed, I'm feeling amazing and I will get a blood test to check the cholesterol, but to be fair I don't care if it's high.

@KnightLight75 Statins will kill you much faster than the cholesterol. Your junk won't work, either.

High cholesterol is not a problem. Period. Statins will kill you slowly. Enjoy your life.

Hi Dr. Baker, thanks for all you do. I’ll have my first annual physical and blood work in February since going carnivore, since last May, and I feel great. I’m expecting my LDL to be high, and my doctor to be scold me.. My question is what is the imaging called that you are referring to, so I can talk to my doc about it. And, if I do introduce some carbs, what would you recommend? Fruit?

Is there a chance that cholesterol goes sky-high within 1 year of carnivore diet? The reason for asking is because normally people with a regular health insurance get blood work done once per year. So knowing what the cholesterol level is makes it easy to take steps to tackle the problem. However, if cholesterol does sky rocket possibly in less than a year, then most people are in the blind. Don't see it coming.
