It’s no life for anyone. He was a prisoner in his own yard. 😡 When we heard about him, we worked hard to get him out of that situation, because every animal deserves more than just existing. Right now he’s very scared. The outside world is completely new and frightening to him. But we’re going to show him patience, kindness, and love and help him discover what life really is. We can’t wait for the day when he finally feels safe… when his tail starts wagging and he learns what it means to be loved. ❤️ Please support us. Hours later she was still there, begging for attention from anyone near but just ignored 💔 She had a collar and after speaking to a few locals they managed to track down the family of who she belonged to. The owner had sadly died recently and the family didn’t want her anymore so threw her out. Now the poor girl spends her time staying local and trying to find her owner 💔 Our hearts are absolutely broken for this girl, once a beloved pet and now her owners heartless family have thrown her out like trash 💔 Our rescuer couldn’t take her today as she had an onward journey but she is safe in a locals yard and we can get her to pension tomorrow if we raise her funds. He told me he has a kidney donor already, but is seeking the masses' aid for financial support so that surgery can be carried out as soon as possible. I came in to town tonight for some food, and as always I brought a bit of spare change in case we bumped into someone who needed help. As we all know the homeless situation is bleak to say the least. I think I’ve found a new “ian” if that makes sense. Poor Alex was walking round in a wet dressing gown on a cold Tuesday night and I just had to help, I’ve given her some money for a hostel and I’ve agreed to meet her in a few days with some clothes, this girl spoke from the heart and was really honest with me. We have gently expanded May’s world since she returned to the rescue, with the help of our visiting behaviourist Charlene who knows her better than anyone. May is a dog who needs to stay with us. She is the product of bad breeding, profoundly deaf and with eyes that receive light differently. So we are doing all we can to make her life as rich as possible - getting all her cuddles in but also making some dog friends. This is what not giving up on a dog looks like. Unconditionally loved by the team and her Auntie Charlene, and all the volunteers who walked and sat with her when she was being assessed at The Hayloft Pet Services 💜

His images were circulating in various Facebook groups in our area, with people asking for help for this poor animal in obvious distress. He wouldn't let anyone get close to him. At last, we managed to locate him and we ran after him for half a day, 🤯 (given his injured neck we didn't want to put a collar on him). In the end he gave in and he let us take him. He was immediately operated on to remove the collar and treat his injuries. We wish him a speedy recovery because he both deserves it and needs it.
