You sound like a commie.

Aren’t you Mormon?? What do you gain from encouraging ppl to deconstruct??

I’m disappointed you didn’t wear a Transformers shirt for this announcement when it has a name like that

You know this is why people arrived at arguing over biological realities, right? Naval gazing "intellectualism" where everything needs to be "deconstructed". Leave one cult to create a new one.

You should hide/remove the social media icons from the bottom if you haven't set up those assets yet.

Love this!!

"We should help the people selling their birthrights for a mess of porridge" "Oh, like help them understand the folly of their decision?" "No, help them sell the birthright"

Looks awesome! Is “deconstruction” people resetting their beliefs or leaving them. The term is a bit confusing to me, and the website says you have faithful and unfaithful so super curious now…

It refers to both. This is a big tent approach that is not prescribing the right way to do deconstruction. The goal is to provide community & info from people who have relevant knowledge & experience.

Oh how cool!! I’d love to attend! I love your work! I would probably book a location around your most active base! I think something almost no one talks about, is possible parallel concepts applied differently. “Calling” for example. Could the sentence be facially true but erroneously applied. That kind of thing, ha. So cool you’re doing this! It’s much needed!

I deconstructed quite a while ago. I didn't know there was a name for it. I had no support, but somehow I turned out okay. I want this to succeed. People need this.

I am going to try to go to this. I deconstructed years ago (multiple times) but I like the deconstruction community and I am also "reconstructing" my own thing. So it would be nice to meet people. Thank you all for doing this.

Fantastic. Very needed

Why? Isn’t deconstruction mostly people making religion a scapegoat for deeper problems like bad parents or trauma? Maybe that’s uncharitable, but it seems like a very inefficient way to fix the problems they’re actually trying to solve. Deconstruction as a whole feels unhealthy

Do a show with Justin DZ.

Genuine question… is there any data that shows “deconstruction” as an effective mental health practice/mind set??? Like is it a culture thing or a data thing? I agree it would be better to be made a productive space. I just don’t know if the data says it’s worth saving.

Is the hope to help people have closure with their decision to leave a faith tradition pick up the pieces moving forward? People don't need a reason to deconstruct or leave a tradition, but I hope when they do, they don't justify it by burning a straw man of what the left.

Will we be able to join online? We live in South Africa
