FIRE AT MINNESOTA MOSUQUE Islam fatigue? The Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center and its attached school provide worship space and K-12 education for roughly 200 students. Following the fire, classes have switched to online learning while administrators look for a temporary rental facility. Some students may be relocated to the center’s two other campuses in the Prior Lake area. The loss has hit the community hard. Several members showed up for morning prayers only to be met with the sight of the burned building.

When a community comes together to stand against hate and violence, miracles begin to unfold. After the recent anti-Muslim riots in Fatikroy, Tripura, the Jama Masjid was severely damaged and left in ruins. In the face of that pain, we started a small fundraiser with one hope in our hearts—that the doors of the mosque would reopen and the first prayer of Ramzan would be offered there. Alhamdulillah, today for the past 21 days, the mosque that was once attacked has been echoing again with the beautiful recitation of Taraweeh. What hate tried to silence, the unity of the community revived with dignity and faith. A heartfelt gratitude to every single person who donated and stood with us in this effort. Your support did not just rebuild a space—it restored hope, courage, and the spirit of worship in a wounded community. May Allah reward you abundantly.

On Friday night, we let Kelly Chase in on a little secret: the new trophy being awarded to the winning foursome at the Blues for Kids Golf Classic this year has been dubbed the “Kelly Chase Community Cup.” The award celebrates Chaser’s incredible efforts to give back to the St. Louis community, something he’s done since Day 1 upon debuting with the Blues more than 30 years ago. The cup was delivered by Donald Ringling, an original member of the Gateway Locomotives, a program Chase helped establish in 1994 to give people with developmental disabilities the chance to play the game of hockey. The organization was re-named Blues Special Hockey in 2017 and still continues today. #stlblues

Minister for Multicultural Affairs Ingrid Stitt today announced that expressions of interest are now open for Indian community organisations in Melbourne’s west and south-east to establish new community centres in their regions. Grants of up to $2.4 million are available for each centre, to support local organisations to deliver culturally appropriate spaces where communities can gather, connect and celebrate their heritage. Victoria’s Indian community is incredibly diverse, with community members from many different cultural, linguistic and faith backgrounds. Applicants are encouraged to consider this diversity in their proposals and put forward plans for a community space that is inclusive, welcoming and accessible to all. Victoria is home to more than 370,000 people of Indian ancestry, the largest Indian-born community in Australia. From students and small business owners to healthcare workers and engineers, Indian Victorians contribute to every part of our economic, cultural and social life. The Labor Government is supporting Victoria’s Indian community through the Revitalising Central Dandenong Project, delivering a new Little India Precinct with up to 470 new homes, 2,500 square metres of community space, and a new supermarket and food market hall.

Funding Announcement: catalyx space has raised a $5.4M seed round to build the complete back-end infrastructure for space — enabling both upmass and downmass for the next era of orbital logistics. This brings our total funding to $7.1 million. Exactly one year ago, my friend saqib hussain and I left everything behind in India and arrived at LAX, hoping to build our new space company in the U.S. Meanwhile, our friends Clinton D Antony and Keerthan Chand Aluvala focused on developing spacecraft hardware back home in India. We joined the Techstars space accelerator and later HFØ , raising a $1.7M pre-seed round in December 2024 from HF0 and Founders Inc, before moving to San Francisco — the city I love most. The entire team relocated to SF in January for HF0. Since then, we’ve 5X’d our revenue, built a re-entry capsule, launched our first spacecraft, and completed our drop and landing tests. We’ve grown to a 20-person team and begun constructing a new spacecraft manufacturing facility in India. Today, we’re thrilled to announce our $5.4M seed round, led by Outlander VC , with participation from Arka Venture Labs, Lex Reddy, KDX, Together, Higher Life Ventures, Nivesha Ventures, Pranatech, Bria, HFØ and Techstars. Demand for archaeological survey 🙂🙏🏻 CMO Gujarat Archaeological Survey of India Leaders of the Jain community have alleged that numerous alterations and new constructions over the years have changed the site’s original archaeological character. They have expressed a desire to inspect the mosque’s basement to determine the facts but claim that the mosque trust and members of the Muslim community have not permitted them entry. The Jain community has therefore demanded a scientific and impartial archaeological survey of the site. On the other hand, the Jama Masjid Trust and members of the Muslim community have rejected the claims arising from the videos and photographs. They maintain that the material circulating on social media is misleading and does not establish the existence of a Hindu or Jain temple at the site. The trust has also submitted a memorandum to the district collector, alleging that false information is being spread on social media to hurt religious sentiments. According to the (Muslim) trust, the Jama Masjid is a centuries-old historic mosque, and claims questioning its origins are baseless.

If we look at Tulsidas's Ramayana, it was written 60 years after the construction of the Babri Masjid. There's no mention in that Ramayana that the Ram Temple was demolished... After Babur came Humayun's reign, and after that came Akbar's. There were rituals and prayers in Akbar's palace. Jodha Bai was in Akbar's palace. There were rituals, prayers, and havans... Mobile: - The interface has been refreshed to improve the editing and reading experience. - Lock Screen, Control Center, and Home Screen widgets let you quickly create a new note, open a specific note, open daily note, open search, or open Obsidian. - When scrolling down in a note, the navigation hides to maximize screen space for reading. - New sidebar navigation for switching sidebar tabs and actions, aligned to the bottom for better ergonomics. - Added double-tap to switch a note from reading mode to editing mode. iOS - Shortcuts to open a note, open daily note, capture to a note.
