The only thing that worries me about rewilding for peatlands is the risk of wildfires .... I am all for re Wilding the world never mind just Scotland.. but the amount of plans for rewilding areas that have got big plans and big spaces in mind for these peat lands... is wildfires

Please define rewilding. All the guff I've seen from you seems to promote abdicating responsibilities. Man is the apex predator and therefore responsible for maintaining ecosystems and food supply.
