I take issue with the one involving the watermelon. There is more to picking a good watermelon than that. You need to hold it like a football, knock on it while listening for a good hollow sound, and feel for a good vibration with your bottom hand. These are indicators that the flesh is good. I spent 9 year's working in an Albertson's produce department and have picked MANY watermelons. I would be very upset if I ever picked out a bad watermelon. I'm looking for work by the way.
