Today, we took our daughter, Rafif, to the doctor to check on her health. After examining her, the doctor found that she has a fungal infection in her stomach, which is causing the persistent diarrhea she has been suffering from. She is also struggling with flu symptoms and a severe cold, which have left her even weaker and more exhausted. The doctor prescribed Flagyl and told us that if the diarrhea continues over the next three days, we will need to return for another examination. I feel helpless because I cannot protect my daughter, Rafif, from the harsh conditions we are living in. The water available to us is unsafe to drink, much of the food that reaches us is not fit to eat, and even the air we breathe is filled with the smell of rockets and gunpowder. All I want is to see my daughter healthy and safe, growing up like any other child in this world. Instead, every day feels like a new battle to protect her from illness and fear in an environment that threatens the most basic necessities of life: clean water, safe food, proper medicine, and clean air. What breaks my heart the most is not only Rafif’s illness, but seeing such a young child struggle with diarrhea, the flu, a cold, and constant exhaustion when her days should be filled with laughter, play, and happiness. It hurts to feel powerless while watching her grow up in circumstances no child should ever have to endure. Please keep Rafif in your prayers. Chained for 12yrs and left to go blind thru infection , she was finally tossed away like she was nothing 😡 Lara from Amores Peludos was picking up galgos from this Galguero and he said he wanted to get rid of her. My mom passed peacefully at 1:11pm two days ago, surrounded by her three little birds, my sister, my brother, and me, holding her hand and stroking her head as we sang to her. The song Three Little Birds came on at just the right moment, like it was meant for her. And it was. She took her final breaths wrapped in our love, with music, light, and presence guiding her home. She was the brightest soul I’ve ever known. A radiant artist. A lover of dance, beauty, color, and connection. She saw magic in people, even those she’d never met, and bridged the gap between hearts without hesitation. She made everyone feel seen. She brought joy everywhere she went. She taught me how to notice life, how to play, how to trust the light within me. If you’ve ever been touched by my love or joy, it was seeded by her. After she passed, we stayed with her. We thanked her spirit, and we thanked her body for holding so much love, for creating us, for doing its job beautifully despite everything. And as we left the room, we did what she would have loved most: we clapped and cheered for her. Because she deserved a standing ovation. I told her I’d see her in every rainbow. In every 11:11. For as long as I can remember I saw Mickey every single day I came into the office, always with a smile on her face, a bubbly personality, and a new project she was excited to work on, right up until she left to go on Big Brother. And after we would talk about what’s next for her after making such a great member of Big Brother. We are all shocked and saddened at this loss at Fanbase To the close friends and family who knew her best, I offer my deepest condolences.
