Your shoulders will never stay over the bar on a heavy deadlift. It means either your hips are too low or your weight is on your heels. Either way, the shoulders will move slightly forward of the bar when it comes of the ground because of the way the lats attach. This happens with every heavy deadlift. We've taught literally thousands of people to deadlift properly in person and have never once had to measure anyone's femur length.
