I've worked in many warehouses. I've never known the driver not unload. Unless a fork lift is required. And even then, the driver moves the load to the back of the truck.

I doubt this would ever make the news if it was a man working solo, and a group of women were standing around. Because that happens every single day.

I grew up in a family tire business. We had drivers that were supposed to deliver tires stacked in the back of big trucks. One of our employees, a delivery driver, used to scream at the employees of our customers for not helping him unload the trucks. He got fired over that. This is your job. This is the job you signed up for. If the client offers to help you unload, then you can accept their help. But you never demand it! The unloading of the truck is your responsibility. No one else’s.

Not to mention as a business owner that ships LTL truck my guys are not allowed to go on the back of trailers. To much liability. This is just another woman looking for attention.

Nope. My employees are not accepting responsibility for the delivered items until they are fully delivered as in off the truck. I've seen so many items damaged during unloading its ridiculous. No way.

Aw you had to do your job me I was raised to help woman but, in my construction, co I never hire woman because the men wind up helping them and not do their job just like her wanting men to not do their jobs.

when im at work at the warehouse. we all are required to be able to lift 50 lbs boxes non stop as a bare minimal task. so why is it i always see the men busting there ass while i watch women drag there ass's? if that's not enough because of strength issues, the women at my job want to try and educate me how to do my job while they watch and only do 20% of the work while they are chit chatting and on there phones that are not allowed on the floor don't apply for the job if you cant do it, its no there job to do your job, but once you do finally do you job and unload all those pallets? then the men will take over and put those pallets in the warehouse and you get to drive off in your truck and sit on your ass and drive in the AC and listen to music. im sure you can handle a hour of unloading and loading while you drive the rest of the day.

I have a lot of driver unloaded deliveries. I've never seen a driver cry about anyone not helping them. I've even offered to help most of the drivers. Usually they do not want you up in the trailer in their way while they are unloading.

I'm a retired truck/bus driver. When l drove trucks there were a few women truck drivers and yes if l had the time and energy l would help a woman sometimes (back in the 80's 90's) and NEVER once did a woman truck driver ever offer to help me with my load.

Other people are not your utility. The entitlement this person has to other people's help is the problem. Her expectations are the sole problem here.

Looking again, I see a roll-up door. That means she's local, and probably required to unload. Many insurance companies won't cover long haul to unload, it's called no-touch freight.
