I hesitate posting this for a bunch of reasons, but I think it's good to just be transparent about everything. I love to highlight all of the incredible things that FSD does, but I also think it's good to talk about any issues that it has currently. In my opinion the E2E on the highway needs some major changes. This clip was from my drive yesterday, and it is without a doubt the most dangerous situation that FSD has put me in. Yes, I am aware that it is FSD Supervised - everything that happens in the car is ultimately my responsbility. I just was wanting to see what the car would do, and I was hoping that it would make a better decision to be honest. Let me know what you think.

Forget UPL, it's the Devin's simple right hand turn that FSD needs to master first. I am blown away that software as good as FSD can make mistakes as simple but devastating as this. This is the second time in less than two weeks that FSD has tried to pull infront of a vehicle on a VERY SIMPLE right hand turn. The car drove pretty much flawlessly all day today (3~ hours of driving) but it ends the day with a move like this and it just takes all the confidence I have with FSD away in a simple move. I understand that the version of FSD we have today is not what will be used in Austin in June, but the fact that FSD is making decisions like this and 'full autonomy' is less than 3 months away - it's a bit concerning to me. I would feel a bit better if a near flawless version of FSD existed 'in the wild' for several months before Austin happens, but that's just me. Tesla Model 3 HW4 FSD 13.2.8 Tesla AI Ashok Elluswamy

$TSLA 🇰🇷 BREAKING : I just experienced FSD (Supervised) for the first time in Korea. The vehicle is Model X and the FSD version is *V14.1.4. We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! (Tesla Korea is a HW4 vehicle that purchased FSD and will update the FSD (Supervised) in the future for vehicles suitable for VIN number 5or7.

This information was released through a YouTube live broadcast by lawmaker Park Joo-min. This is very good news because I feel that Tesla is very interested in expanding the FSD base in Korea and is working on it. Stifel $TSLA analyst Stephen Gengaro on FSD: "You'll see increased adoption as people are exposed to it. I've been behind the wheel of several of these and the different iterations of FSD and it is getting better and better. It's something when people experience it, they will be much more comfortable utilizing FSD and paying for it."

I’m increasingly confident in FSD and let situations play out I never would have before. Last night my wife was yelling at me about this SUV speeding through a parking lot. It was pretty obvious they were going to try and exit pit lane ahead of me. No problem. But then they panicked stopped. FSD handled it fine. My wife was full of rage at the idiot though. I don’t get road rage anymore on FSD. I’m just chill.

Chris Dirty Tesla showed an example of FSD V12 not responding to a ball being thrown in front of it. However, he didn’t test with FSD v12.6.4 and he admitted that in the comments. This version is very different than 12.3.6 and other previous versions. It’s more of a “v13 lite” than anything else. Those who have it know that it’ll stop for squirrels crossing the road. Here are some tests I did with a similar ball using FSD v12.6.4.

Tesla FSD V14.3.3 drove me around all day through the very busy streets of downtown Toronto. It handled bikes, streetcars, pedestrians, and buses better than I ever could. It let me use my phone whenever I wanted, far more than I actually needed the whole time. Unsupervised FSD feels like it’s really almost here.

Two reasons I disengage from Tesla FSD (HW4): 1.) I want FSD to take a diff route than suggested. Potential easy solution in the video: Just let me "draw" the route I wanna take. 2.) The full-stop at stop signs. I tap the accelerator when using FSD to do a rolling stop which is way more natural. The NHTSA made Tesla do the full-stop thing in 2022 and it's just annoying, especially when driving through a neighborhood with tons of stop signs. 🤯 FSD avoiding CRASH🤯 FSD IS HERE TO SAVE LIVES Casually driving on the highway when this BMW tried to smash into me and FSD avoided the crash by swerving away There were no cars around me so it was safe to do so I expected the BMW to do something weird so I was ready to take over and I did FSD would’ve handled it perfectly though Thanks to Tesla AI for making roads safer 👏

It's wild that people post videos of themselves blatantly breaking the law like this. Look, obviously, the idea of being able to do something else, like work, while driving is extremely appealing, but you just can't do it like that. Tesla FSD v14 is extremely impressive, but the best data we have right now points to a critical intervention every ~2,000 miles on average. Human drivers crash about every ~400,000 miles on average. You will hurt yourself, or God forbid, someone else, if you keep doing this, as you won't be able to intervene properly. I know some don't believe because they blindly believe Tesla's claim that "FSD is 10x safer than human drivers", but that's the most misleading claim ever. First off, the data is cherry-picked. I do believe that driving on FSD is safer than driving without, but closer to a factor 3x based on the best, not-Tesla-massaged, data. But more importantly, that's 3x safer than FSD plus human. Not just FSD. It is safer because it is supervised by a human paying attention and correcting the system when needed. If you use it like this guy, you are not safer. Period.

FSD V14.2 Ambulance Fail As always I think it's healthy to show the good and the bad with FSD. Last night when I was out testing 14.2 I ran into an issue where an ambulance was coming from my right and FSD failed to notice it in time. I ended up having to disengage which marked my first and only (non-nav related) disengagement on V14.2. Let me know what you think in the comments.

As a Brit, we don't have Tesla FSD (Full Self Driving) yet. So as part of the family holiday, I hired a Cybertruck for 3 weeks to do a bit of a California road trip to see if FSD really is as good as some of the YouTube videos I've seen. We've done over 1000 miles in it so far and WOW... Put some rough clips together to show our Day 1 using it etc. No exaggeration, it drove from Venice Beach in LA all the way to Monterey via Big Sur and then to Lake Tahoe with zero interventions. And loads of little trips as well. It's just incredible. I really cannot wait for FSD to be allowed in the UK. The moment it is likely, I'm buying a brand new Tesla just for FSD. It's really THAT good...

FSD V13 fails to stop for trailer backing onto road. Looking forward to the comments telling me how this wasn’t an issue, and that it was a 100iq move by FSD to try and go around the trailer without stopping, since I was in hurry mode. Reality is every human on earth would have seen this trailer and stopped well before I did. FSD has good days and bad days, yesterday I drove for hours without a single issue, and imagined a world of FSD unsupervised being right around the corner. But then today I see that the car will still gladly run itself into the back of a massive trailer, and my dreams of unsupervised happening anytime soon get a bit dashed. Anyways as always just want to share, good and the bad. Tesla AI

Just did a Cybertruck demo and… wow… I get it now… It was my first time ever driving a Tesla and first time using FSD… It’s absolutely insane. I knew it would be good but didn’t realize it was THAT good… If you want to see the most pure and joyful reactions to FSD, here’s my pregnant wife and 2.5 year old son experiencing it for the first time… We returned the demo and ordered a Cybertruck two hours later… Elon Musk deserves to be a trillionaire and anyone who says differently should be scorned then ignored.

Just did a Cybertruck demo and… wow… I get it now… It was my first time ever driving a Tesla and first time using FSD… It’s absolutely insane.
