The Brittany Ferries Cotentin is only just arriving at Cherbourg Port after 18 hours at sea. These calves, bawling with hunger yesterday afternoon at Rosslare Europort still have not been fed and it will be some hours before they all are. 30 hours or more with no food, I can't spell it out any clearer! How can you claim this is high welfare Christophe Mathieu Jean-Marc Roué Rodolphe Saade It's unfathomable that anyone even tries to defend this, they are very young, vulnerable animals. Dept of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board National Dairy Council Teagasc Irish Farmers' Association this has to stop! An RTE news report from the year 2000 highlights how Irish people are competing with asylum seekers for housing in our own country. The politicians knew this wasn't popular, they knew they were making life more difficult for Irish people but they pushed ahead anyway. 26 years later, what has changed? Well there's a lot more non-Irish here and now the government wants the Irish to live in garden sheds in our parents back garden.
