Andy- we need to let the funding to EVs go. It must stop in its entirety, including investing in lithium mining.. It is the link all politicians up there are ignoring. The auto manufacturers need to fund it on their own, however a environmental disaster waiting to happen as well

Massie: My amendment is simple. It strikes $3.3 billion of foreign aid to the country of Israel from the state department funding bill. We've got $39.4 trillion of debt. We've got needs at home, which include our infrastructure, our roads and bridges. We've got a shortfall in that fund. And we've got homeless veterans, and we're sending more money to Israel in this bill than we spend on homeless veterans in this country. Just to put it in perspective, there are 3000 counties in this country, and if you divide that into 3 billion, that's $1 million from every county. This is not a significant amount of money that is going overseas. So I think we should stop it. We should put them on a diet.

The debt ceiling doesn’t reduce spending or increase revenue. In fact, Congress has raised or changed the debt ceiling *78 times* since 1960—with no meaningful change to our budget decisions. It serves no purpose other than driving brinkmanship. Congress should abolish it.

Try not to puke as you watch 2 minutes of platitudes, seals clapping and a Minister talk down to Canadians like we were Kindergarten children. The country is an economic basket case thanks to 8 years of Liberal mismanagement, and what's their solution? More reckless spending and an additional $20 billion in deficit. Canada spends more on debt servicing than it does on healthcare.
