Now it's President Tinubu that has been put on the spot, he is faced with a choice. Is he going to choose APC Governors, or is he going to choose Wike? The President is in a tight situation. APC Governors Draw Battle Line With Wike, Rejects Coalition The Progressive Governors Forum has ruled out supporting or endorsing any political coalition or candidate outside the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 elections, in an apparent reference to the Nyesom Wike-led Rainbow Coalition. Chairman of the Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, announced the position late Monday after the governors meeting in Abuja. The APC governors say they will not participate in any political arrangement capable of weakening President Tinubu's re-election and other APC governorship, National Assembly or State Assembly candidates fearing that it may undermine party candidates at any level. Despite the national campaign structure, the PGF says APC governors will take the lead in mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in their respective states.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike names the three APC Governors fighting him over the Rainbow Coalition Wike said: How can a governor leave his state and go to Abuja to complain that Rainbow Coalition is a distraction. Is that a serious governor? Adamawa, Edo, Kogi, Lagos, and Akwa-Ibom state governors do not have a problem with the Rainbow Coalition. I saw Ondo Governor there, and I was shocked. The governors having issues with me are Governor Hope Uzodimma, Governor Abdulrazaq, and Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Wike can't be on two sides. It doesn't make sense. He can say whatever he wants to say, but the Governors' Forum position is clear. Wike should come to the APC. We will take it up with President Tinubu when he returns from France. Let there be a clear line with where this guy belongs to. It's either he's in the APC or he's out. - Governor Dauda Lawal speaks on FCT Minister Nyesom Wike's feud with some APC governors over his Rainbow Coalition

The APC governors forum unanimously resolved that its members will not participate in, support, or endorse any alliance or political arrangement capable of undermining the reelection of Mr. President, weakening the APC, or adversely affecting any candidate of the party at all levels. No arrangement that creates confusion, divided loyalty, or competing interests within the party will be entertained. - Governor Hope Uzodimma spoke after the APC governors meeting in Abuja.

BREAKING: FCT Minister Nyesom Wike reveals the real reason why Governor Hope Uzodimma is leading a war against him. Wike said: Hope Uzodimma became a governor by taking fourth position. He has 11 months to leave office. President Tinubu will be inaugurated by May 2027, and Uzodimma's tenure will end around January 2028. Now, he wants to leave his office to run for Senate President. What he does is to tell APC governors to produce the senators and House of Reps members because of his agenda to become senate president. Governor Uzodimma is afraid that the senators who lost in APC and moved to the PDP might win and won't support him to become senate president because they're running with Wike's support. Life or death, I will never support a character of Hope Uzodimma to become the senate president.

Can You Now See That Even In APC, Nyesom Wike Who Is Not Even a Member Has Been Able To Stop a Sitting Governor From Re-Contesting? Thank God I'm not on that list. I feel relieved that I'm not on Wike's list of APC governors fighting the Rainbow Coalition. Wike is one of the ministers in this administration, and if he says he wants to support President Tinubu from another party, remember he's not an APC member. What's the whole essence of an alliance? I think the Governors' Forum message was misunderstood. - Governor Abdullahi Sule spoke on the political dispute between FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and some APC governors over the Rainbow Coalition.

There is no APC member today in Nigeria that has not directly or indirectly benefited from the effort of Wike. I believe that Wike has sacrificed so much for APC for the president. He made a huge sacrifice. Wike has handed over Rivers State to APC. Wike is an asset to APC... - Abdulmumin Jubrin, Member, House of Representatives, APC, Kano #PoliticsToday

“Fubara is the leader of the APC in Rivers state. Wike is not a member of the APC. So, he has no right to meddle in the affairs of the APC in the state. If he attempts to do that, his wings will be cut.” -Ibrahim Bala, APC Director of Publicity sending a strong message to Wike. If you put logic in your thought, you'd see that it is Tinubu warning Wike, using proxies. But it appears too late for the “Emperor of Obio/Akpor” to back down.✍️

The Crime I Have Committed against APC Governors Is, They Wanted to Give Us Candidates of Their Own Choice, and I Disagreed - Wike They are governors, and I agree, but the influence should come more from their own states as far as this election is concerned. I have heard them say I am presenting candidates, so I will have greater legislatures. How does that work? Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory

Wike sends a strong message to APC governors 🔥🔥🔥 “I heard some governors say the Rainbow coalition is to reduce the votes of our President (Tinubu), people who don’t have capacity. Where were you when we delivered Rivers State for Tinubu in 2023 without a Rainbow coalition? This Rainbow coalition will increase Tinubu’s votes, if you don’t know how to do it come and learn from us, there is nothing in learning.” Our people know who they are voting for: - President = APC ✅ - Senate = APC ✅ - House of Reps = PDP ✅ When the time for the governorship and House of Assembly comes, we will tell you who to vote for.
