That is a bit frustrating. It clearly has some kind of false positive problem here. In medical diagnostic imaging we'd call that an artifact. Something that creates the appearance of an abnormality when in fact none is present. It's the bane of nuclear stress testing for sure - lots of false positives there. Smarter intelligence is needed to be able to distinguish between artifact and reality. The camera sees perfectly what's going on. The issue is in the transformation of photons into image interpretation.

@Tesla_AI You sound like the car had just hit a 4 yr old kid when in reality it’s just parked a bit too far out, all by itself. Come on dude. Your frustration is not warranted.

@Tesla_AI Looks like a pavement change is tricking it to think there is a parking curb there.

@Tesla_AI Did 14.3.9 improve the approach to angled spots, or is the inconsistency mostly parking-lot geometry? Curious how it handles the next spot after one miss.

@Tesla_AI Early Model 3 highland and some of HW4 model y has no front bumper camera, we were hoping to get a retrofit 😂

@Tesla_AI What is the value of automated parking? It will never be better than me. And usually intersections and dense merging will not touch my driving. I’m not a tester.

@Tesla_AI I understand the car made an error but why the crying attitude, seems like an easy fix, maybe ask nicely instead of being a bit of a cunt.

@Tesla_AI Aw be nice to Teslas. They don't measure distance or have true depth perception. They infer everything.

@Tesla_AI Way too much drama. I don’t know about the Estates, but most people around the world don’t even have parking sensors, let alone an array of cameras to help them park, so it’s fairly obvious that Tesla are aiming to have their cars do what a normal person would with their own eyes
