op posted a xhs tutorial right after i posted this it seems like u can also do it without guide of no return - however when i tried to use this plunge it wouldnt work for me

Does that big splash only happen in that area? I tried jumping on lakes but the splashes were too small.

You can do blobs with CSS filter but it only works as black or white as far as I know but you can use SVGs to achieve the result you want.
