This is the truth. I know of this family, the father had a will with these other attorneys in Kanana Township, Klerksdorp. When he passed, those attorney registered one of the properties on their name. The daughter of the deceased came to our office recently to seek assistance.

The Dr Matthew Lani of financial advice this one. Even more scary to see people believe this nonsense. This is reckless bordering on dangerous advice.

There is also something called the Intestate Succession Act 81/1987 for those that pass on without leaving a valid will. If you not have a will, your estate will be administered according to this Act.

Whether your house is in your Will or not, you’ll have to pay transfe fees if the house costs more than R1 100 000.

You are talking nonsense. All your assets forms part of an estate.

I don't blame them for laying charges against you. You are misleading people. Everything you own while still alive forms part of your estate whether you include it in your will or not.

If in your Will you decides not to mention your valuables like immovables, still they will form part of your estate and will require administration

With the banks very true, with Capital Legacy you pay monthly premiums for all those admin/transfer fees.

But this is actually misleading. Whether you have a Will or not, as long as your estate is above R250 000 it will still go under administration. Your estate will be dealt with in terms of Intestate Act, which is even more complicated and more often frustrating for your heirs.

Manje what do we do with our properties? Do we just let them fight after our deaths, especially since some of us don’t have kids?

Having a Will is very expensive, when it comes to fees his telling the truth. Nothing but the truth. Banks make alot of money via fees, any type of products you can have with them. E.g You investment your money is not growing but there monthly fees, tht reduce your investments.

After the death of a natural person- their possessions will either be distributed intestate or testate. A will is a legally binding document used by an appointed executioner of choice, to administrator one's estate. Everyone should have a will. It is the responsible thing to do.

Bad advice gone wrong. He should have just stopped at banks. Everything else was just lies. Will or no will, estates needs to be administered. But when the banks are your executors, that’s asking for unnecessary headaches. Nominate beneficiaries to policies and not add to will

This is soo true, when my father passed away, he left a will with the lawyers and the admin costs have us by the neck, choking, thankfully my siblings and I have a good relationship so we haven’t changed ownership of any asset my dad owned and life goes on

After watching this video I understand why he got a FAIS complaint, this is so misleading and SO dangerous! Please people, don't take his advice because he doesn't know what he's talking about. Also, it's a FAIS complaint, not criminal charges.

He's actually right. I worked in this field. People here the word will and think of it like in movies or see celebrity families fighting. By the time the matter is resolved, these companies already own half the estate cos of the charges raking up.
