Here some overall test footage, WIP bot npcs and performance. Saw some Death Stranding 2 on the Internet and decided to go back and update the lighting for a bit. I'm gonna work on characters and 'cargo mechanic' next month. (I'll also turn 2D UI into 3D UI again soon)

I'm testing a new technique: I'm texturing a 3D model with an AI video texture that changes based on the player's viewing angle. This allows for real-time dynamic lighting on the character and is highly optimized. The test is running in standalone VR. WIP.

lighting experiment 02 walls are caching correctly. the simulation is continuous- 1 update per frame @ 60hz i added per-node albedo. next i'll probably add some support for placing / removing walls in this test environment, and also add support for emissive materials.
