Here was Sam Darnold jogging onto the practice field yesterday, two days before the NFC Championship Game. Brings to mind how Mike Macdonald has described his QB in these terms a bunch of times this season: “The same guy every day.”

#Seahawks QB Sam Darnold says going to the hospital after his Week 1 injury gave him a new perspective on life when he saw what other patients were dealing with. "That was eye-opening." Darnold was taken to a trauma center near Lumen Field due the severity of his injury.

Yesterday, today, it doesn't matter for Walker Jenkins. This one is absolutely CRUSHED. It's his second homer of the game (over two days). 2nd time this season he has had a two homer game. It's his 11th of the season (9 with us and 2 on rehab), a new career high

Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss shares a pregame prayer with his mother before every game, a tradition going all the way back to his high school playing days. Love that ESPN decided to highlight this young man’s faith in Jesus Christ in the midst of the Fiesta Bowl

There’s no injury, how is this guy allowed to come on the field? Again, there to pass on a message. He’s practically coaching this side at every second of the game

Role Model: Bengals QB Joe Burrow took time out of his day to sign a jersey and take a photo with a young fan after practice. Burrow is the definition of a class act. How can anyone hate this guy?

FROM THE TRACK TO THE NFL 🏈 Before Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane brought his speed to the NFL, he was one of the nation’s top high school sprinters and was named the 2020 Gatorade Texas Boys Track & Field Player of the Year. Achane helped Fort Bend Marshall win a state championship in 2019 and finished the season ranked No. 1 nationally in the 200m after breaking 21 seconds five times. He ran his 100m personal best in 2020 at the Spartan Relays, where he clocked 10.53. He later played football and competed in track and field at Texas A&M, recording personal bests of 6.63 in the 60m, 10.02 (+4.5) in the 100m, and 20.20 (+1.3) in the 200m. After his junior season at Texas A&M, Achane was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He will be playing his second game of the 2026 season this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Sam Darnold's 25.3 QBR Sunday was his second-worst of the year. “I know it wasn't Sam's best game of all-time and the stats reflect that," Mike Macdonald said, "but there are some big-time third-down throws with pressure in his face." Like this third-and-4 in the fourth quarter

Is something wrong? This video of #Jets QB, Justin Fields, is going viral. This was Justin’s walkout prior to the Jets first preseason game. Fans are pointing out how nervous he was for a preseason game. Look how many times he adjusts his uniform.

It takes stones to take the bullpen cart before your MLB debut. You'd think a guy would be nervous and tight. Yean rode the bullpen cart to get out onto the field. Threw 2 hitless innings in his first MLB game.

🚨🚨THIS IS CRAZY🚨🚨 This #Colts fan has gone viral for paying $30 to watch the game the first game of the season in Indianapolis from some of the worst seats in the stadium… You cannot even see the field from these seats. 😳😳😳

The play that sold the Eagles on Makai Lemon: USC up two TDs. Their QB throws a pick. Lemon is on the other side of the field, runs all the way across to tackle the DB. It was his first game back at WR after playing DB all season due to USC secondary injuries. 🦅

THE SNOW TIME LAPSE IN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN DENVER IS ABSOLUTELY REMARKABLE. TO START THE SECOND HALF, THERE WAS ZERO SNOW ON THE FIELD, AND THEN SUDDENLY IN THE FOURTH QUARTER A BLIZZARD ABRUPTLY APPEARED. HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE.

Jeff Sims embodies loyalty, returning to ASU this season after backing up Sam Leavitt the season before. I asked him how Kenny Dillingham has preached loyalty in the program: “Being about team…He’s from here. He went to school here. I wouldn’t imagine he’d want to leave here.”
