One of the main differences of the game today compared to my prime is the equipment. That’s why it is so difficult to compare players of different eras, it’s a different game. Equipment advances have improved the game for every golfer, including myself as I would not have been able to play at the level i do today if the equipment had not advanced as it has and for that i am thankful. Kitten update #41: I learned a lot about the fundamental biological differences between boys and girls from my dogs. The kittens seem a little less dimorphic; I don't know if that will change as they grow but the differences between the boys and the girls seem way less pronounced. Maybe some of that is differences in the way they relate to us; like if girl dogs are generally more attentive, eager to please, and easier to train than boy dogs, maybe cats have some of the same differences but we don't notice because no cat is easy to train. Who knows about sex-based differences in cats and wants to educate me? Anyway, one thing that seems to be a universal constant is the way brothers are when they want attention right as you're getting into that perfect nap bliss state.

. Naval: I don’t think you need to have a PhD to be a scientist. If you are naturally curious and you’re rigorous and you discover new things, you’re a scientist. One of my Twitter quips was, “The only true test of intelligence is if you get what you want out of life,” and that triggers a lot of people. But how else do you know? How else do you know if you’re smart? If you’re not getting what you want out of life, how smart are you really? You might have had bad luck once upon a time, but consistently, every time? I doubt it. And there’s two parts to that. One is actually testing yourself against the world to see if you get what you want. And the other is wanting the right things in the first place. You know, I wish I was 20 years old and had wings. Umm, not gonna happen. So you gotta wish for the right things too.

The absorption of oestradiol from patches or gels can vary significantly between different women due to a variety of factors. My patches often crinkle and do not stick on well so after a few months of starting HRT, my consultant increased the dose to two patches as with one patch I was still having symptoms and my oestradiol blood test was low. This means that often different women will need different doses of oestrogen - in their patch, gel or spray - for the same amount to be absorbed into their bodies. HRT is not a “one size fits all” treatment. Individualisation of treatment is so important.
