Looking for the best label design for the USB port on Flipper One USB-C1 is the main USB port on Flipper One. It can do all of the following: • Power IN/OUT — it can charge Flipper One and power other devices. • Video OUT — it supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C so you can connect it to an external monitor. • USB Host + Device — it can emulate USB devices such as Ethernet adapters, mass-storage devices, or serial ports, while also acting as a USB host for connected peripherals. The challenge is to communicate all of this with a single label on the device itself, so users do not have to read the manual. We are trying to make the labeling as clear and compact as possible. This video walks through the constraints we faced, the options we considered, and the trade-offs behind each one. Watch it and let us know what you think. Which label makes the most sense to you? ✨ I built a Cursor-style right sidebar on my site Photo AI which is a regular AI chatbot BUT it can fully control my app! It can take photos of you, or shoot videos, run photo packs, remix content you upload etc. anything you see in the interface. Like an AI photographer that does everything for you inside the web app The convo history is stored in localStorage, and the chat uses xAI Grok 4 to send messages, there I define the tools it can use, and when it gets a response JS controls the site like prompt textareas, or photo pack section, or take photo button It also knows what's on your screen, so you can say you want to mix the blue jacket from one photo and the red hair from the other A few weeks ago I told Yasser it'd be cool if Chatbase (an AI customer support pop up chat) would be able to fully control my site too, and this week I saw Farza 🇵🇰🇺🇸 building an AI desktop app that fully controls his computer too so I think that's where things are going, you don't see it on the web that much though Very fun to build and hopefully useful for people!!!

Coding: Cursor Tasks: Linear Terminal: Warp Deploy: GitHub Staying updated: one curated dev feed before I start work Everything else got removed quietly over time. No big switch. Just fewer decisions every morning. Your stack isn’t what you use. It’s what you stopped using.

I tabled my Private Members Bill to create a one stop portal where the death of a loved one can be reported, and cancel all government services in one place. Also, my bill seeks to remove the GST on anything related to funeral services, making the burden of a funeral easier.

As promised, I open-sourced the app. Introducing Inka: AI Daily Journal for BOOX devices → ← It started as an experiment: a simple screen where you can write anything and the page writes back. I showed it to my son and he absolutely loved it. Then I realized I could turn this into a daily journal app, where you can write down your thoughts and get answers back. It's low-bandwidth communication, yes. But that's a feature, not a bug. I find myself focusing much better while drawing _random_ things on paper. And so I turned the one-screen experiment into a full app. You can configure the AI provider, persona, writing animation, handwriting font & style and even an experimental handwriting synthesis for a more realistic feel. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
