Parents who called to complain about the wrist bands and access restrictions were told to tell their Jewish kids to find “another way in the building” and that “police can’t help today” and that “sorry yeah the protestors have taken over that area of the school.”

To clarify further they went on to explain to parents they are not intervening with kids being blocked off from entrances to classes and buildings by protestors, so the school confirmed it IS allowing protestors to block entrances and areas, but students can request police help only if they are physically getting attacked or need help for an injury. (No I am not making this up, however not posting the recording I heard because I don’t have permission since the call may reveal the identity of the parent)

@UCLA This is a 100% a massive civil rights violation and easy lawsuit that will win in court against @UCLA Anymore of this and I’m telling you.., the school is going to be pinching Penny’s. Shameful.

@RebeccaJapko @UCLA Gonna be a lot of rich kids. Civil Rights violations are expensive. Bye UCLA!

@UCLA This is a hate crime and UCLA is allowing it

@RBatDavid @UCLA Where the hell is the administration????? File lawsuits now this is so ridiculous

@UniqueAndTrue @UCLA I see a class action suit against UCLA for allowing this.

@UCLA These children are emboldened because they don’t face any consequences for their behavior. Sad to see this happen at UCLA but not surprised. I kinda hope it all collapses. Just hope the Jewish students remain safe.

@FJ_Deen961 @UCLA Astonishing @GavinNewsom is useless

@ShelleyGldschmt @UCLA
