❤️🥹WHICH RESTAURANT IS THIS? THEY SHOULD BE HONORED! These workers at this Mexican restaurant in downtown LA deserve a massive THANK YOU for helping our deputies recover from injuries in the riots downtown. These are likely hard working legal immigrants. These are the people we appreciate and want to protect! Immigrants who came here to LA, set up a business, pay taxes ….and care about our officers because they keep them safe! Protestors/rioters need to stop equating all immigrants with ILLEGAL CRIMINALS. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! Respect our residents. And MUCHAS GRACIAS to these lovely people who helped our officers!

I believe this is one of the first videos of the incident. In this video you can see he’s trying to escape a protestor blockade preventing access. This started with Mark R. Levin supporting a post calling out Jack Posobiec for hypocrisy. Not Catholicism. Not a rosary. The issue was the contradiction of Jack presenting himself as devout while also promoting and supporting neo Nazi rhetoric and extremist bigotry. Instead of addressing that contradiction of his embracing of the bigoted Islamist Myron Gaines, Posobiec reframed Levin’s criticism as an attack on the rosary itself. When I replied pointing out that misrepresentation, I was immediately blocked. That was a red flag suggesting the deflection was intentional. (I'll post the screenshots of the public dispute emerging from Turning Point USA at the end of the thread) A short search later, I realized that the deflection was not only intentional but malicious. This thread features examples from years of documented reporting showing Jack Posobiec exhibiting a consistent pattern of associating with, amplifying, and protecting extremists, antisemitic meme culture, and disinformation actors. This was not a ONE OFF with his encouragement of the Islamist Myron Gaines (Amrou Fudi) who celebrated and jokes the mass murder of Jewish people. He embraced it because he is part of this extremist culture. Let's start with a livestream by Posobiec himself where leans heavily into “Kekistan” meme culture while making repeated Holocaust and concentration camp analogies, a tactic long associated with white nationalist spaces. He tells his viewers that “Native Kekistanis know all too well the horror… the r@pe c@mps… the meme camps,” then escalating to claims that “they turned Kekistanis into soap” and that enemies were “harvesting their delicious org@ns… turn them into l@mpsh@des,” language that directly mirrors Nazi era atrocities, trivializing mass murder while normalizing extremism in jokes for his audience. (Article linked in sources at end of thread) NPR claims when asked about the livestream Posobiec didn't dispute it, but instead attacked the reporter. The rest of this thread will highlight some of his alarming platforming decisions, public tweets, extremist associations, and why watchdog groups ultimately labeled him an hostile extremist. Once you see the full record, Levin’s criticism doesn’t come out of nowhere at all. In fact, he was more on point based on his reaction to the events of the past week, than he probably realized.

Republishing the name of the restaurant even before the poll is over because I just spoke with the owner! It is not Mexican but a SALVADORAN 🇸🇻spot on Alondra Blvd. named La Cieba. The restaurant owner Elizabeth Mendoza who moved here from El Salvador and loves her culture and being an American citizen. She has been established here legally for many years. She is happy to let people know and come eat at her restaurant which she calls “a humble little hole in the wall that welcomes everyone.” She says they love their police officers and the police love them. “I give them a lot of food because I know they need my help. It is so dangerous for them. They are friends and they always say thank you. So many people said thank you today!” I asked if she felt it was safe to share, if she felt the protestors would supportive or if they could target her. She said “No, it is okay! The protestors were also very kind to me. I gave them water and was kind to them as well.” She shared a video (a bit blurry) but it is of her giving police food outside too. In the chaos, they showed real compassion by helping our officers who were under attack and creating a safe space for everyone. San Antonio College refused to address the issues, and the professor who initiated the attacks continues to lead protests and show the antisemitic film in his classes.
