With a Tory government there's always less money for public services regardless of situation or context! This is part of the problem in that the wealthy are hoovering up so much more money & want more for themselves & less for everyone else + a small state for low taxes on them.

After spending over 300 billion on Covid. Nothing to do with Brexit, that was small change and the economics show we out performed most of the EU .

It was a price — but the price bought the ability to cut bureaucracy, lower taxes, and return free speech and self-expression to the people. The price was duly paid. Yet the Conservative and Labour governments did the exact opposite: more bureaucracy, higher taxes, 12,000 arrests over tweets. None of that was a consequence of Brexit. It was a consequence of the UK government’s decisions. Brexit simply returned to Britons the right to self-determination. It wasn’t Brexit’s fault that the UK used that right to build a worse version of the EU instead of a counter-EU.

Despite record tax revenues! Begs the question where all the money is going. PS, I voted remain but this country has been in decline for 20 years.
